I'm English and a Nationalist, and my sympathies lie with the Palestinians. They faced Mass immigration a 100 years ago and lost their land to the migrants. Desist with your anti Irish crap. The overwhelming majority of workers on the canals were Irish. Here on Tyneside up until the 1840s there was virtually no one living here until massive numbers of Borderers, and Scots came down, then even more Irish arrived. The population of Gateshead, Newcastle, Sunderland, Felling Jarrow and Consett surged with these Celts arriving. The industrial revolution started by the Genius of the English, but the labour force was at least half Irish and Scots. Welsh and Cornish arrived in fairly large numbers too. But yes English labourers and tradesmen were significant too. The Northern "English" from Merseyside up over are majority Celt in origin. Take a look thru a Tyneside phone book for the proof.

🎯Correct. The North east was sparsely populated until the 1840s when huge numbers of Scots and Borderers came down, followed by even larger numbers of Irish. Obviously English men worked in industry too. But out numbered by Irish and Scots at first. Checkout the names in a Tyneside phone book.

@user-sj8ki6ep5i Historical fact. The area was called Palestine in ancient Greece times.Semites and Aryans lived in the region. Many of the jews were driven out after AD 70 by the Romans. The area became vaste majority Christian, and Hellenic in culture. Arabs conquered the region in the 7th century, and the process of Islamification commenced by force. Most the Jews and Christians became Muslims. They are the current Palestinian population. Palestine was 95% Palestinian 100 years ago. 60 % Muslim, 35% Christian . 5% Jewish. Mass Immigration of Jews from Europe swamped them and took their land, mostly thru force aided by America France and Perfidious Albion.
