  5. My Father worked in London from 1950. He worked with Black men, before most Geordies had ever seen one in the flesh. I recall him telling us about these people in the middle 1960s. His exact words were....."iv never met one yet that didn't think they could be Prime Minister". My clan still laugh at that till this day. 😂😂😂The old man had them sussed out.

  13. Rubbish! My mate has found Celtic armbands in Northumbria that are 3000 years old. Our ancestors were advanced metal workers, producing exquisite Jewelry and weaponry. They had chariots etc.

  33. My Uncle was an Engineer. He worked in Africa in the early 1960s for a company that exported mining machinery to Africa. He was sent out to show them how to use it. He told our family all we need to know about the "qualities" of that lot. ​ @alanduncan9204
