  1. It was the same in the second world war mate. My Grandfather fought thru France and Germany after D Day. He said to his children when he got home...."The Americans killed more of the British Soldiers than the Germans did".

  7. ​ @sjhoff  My Grandfather said the Americans often bombed the British forces by mistake. My grandfather was an Artillery man himself. He says they also once got in a dispute with some American soldiers. When they drive off, the American soldiers fired their rifle's at them! He said they were an undisciplined bunch. He was not impressed with them.

  9. 100% There the little matter of the British invasion and occupation of Iceland too. As you stated, we had planned to invade Norway too. Germany got wind of it and thwarted it. History books ignores these inconvenient facts.
