  1. ​ @stephfoxwell4620 Pubs are closing down for various reasons. The main one is people drinking cheep supermarket beer at home. Less then half the price of a pint in the Pub. Plus demographic change in many towns and cities. The newcomers largely don't drink alcohol. Plus the smoking ban in pubs didn't help.
