  2. how can you be sure of Putins intention to change the leadership in Kiev without huge speculation! to me it seems it was a decoy attack on Kiev and the main objective was to take the southeast oblasts of Ukraine like Donetsk with a Russian speaking majority!

  3.  @harshsahu1589  officially it started with Bush in the NATO Bucharest summit of 2008 but unofficially it started years before with expansion into eastern Europe including Poland and other ex-soviet states.

  6. well it wouldn’t be believable if they didn’t actually try and have casualties. if Putin wanted regime change he would have tried years earlier during the ceyea coup but the Russians know that regime change is not a permanent fix. the ussa would just do another coup years later! the more permanent fix is to annex the Russian speaking territories of Ukraine and incorporate them into to Russia. whatever it was, it was definitely not the main priority!
