  1.  @iaf010  they will probably be paid to fight and are neither forced nor are they volunteering. more like payed mercenaries.

  2. there are US citizens who have volunteered in the Ukrainian army but the US has not ‘officially’ entered the war. these Afghan pilots are still not citizens yet but only have green cards for now.
