Germany's SMEs are often world leaders : the debate is, if Germany is rich. Germany is NOT rich, because the wealth does not trickle down from rich. I would rather be poor, than innovative yet poor. Reality is, Germans in 40's with PhD, live in shared flat, and cycle to work (not purely out of climate consciousness, but because they are dirt poor, and get paid 2300€ in a city, where basic costs are 1800€).

"German state is very interventionist" - to the extent of police state, but just for middle class though. Upper class industrialists enjoy free wheeling liberalism and laissez-faire policies, with zero accountabilities. Contact and network based hiring in corporate world as well as tax funded civil administration, are norms rather than exception.
2
@alex__3897 4000 Euro Brutto would be 2200 Netto in Steuerklasse 1. Nice try.
2
@Mar Coac You clearly have ZILCH understanding of economics. Do you think Oracle, where salary is 3X to their counterparts in SAP, borrows money to pay their employees? NO. German Corporate world pays pittance, while keeps the booty for upper echelon. German GDP is very high, but does not trickle down.
2
@alex__3897 Sozialversicherungsbeiträge is not tax? Any ABZUG, is effectively TAX. If a PhD's disposable income is mere few hundreds after paying rents in Munich and Frankfurt, that PhD is being paid peanuts.
2
@alex__3897 Do you know me personally? I have worked in Frankfurt banking industry for 6 years, and paid taxes in St Kl 1. Immediately trotted out of hellhole DL to prosperous Luxembourg, after getting German passport. It has something to do with the amount of money you earn : thanks for mentioning the bleeding obvious. Now explain, where does 50% tax money goes, given that Gegenleistung is zilch. Not even Stadtbibliothek is free.
2
@daliborsacaric5258 We will oppress the oppressor. Wait and watch. Natsi.
2
@daliborsacaric5258 I wish I could hold the same opinion of you.
2
@alex__3897 No, they do not. Germany has worse adult wealth ownership than Slovenia and Malta. That is abysmally poor for the productivity demand. Labour union? Huh. German Corporate world is near 100% ethnic German. What about that? You are obviously German.
1
@alex__3897 If Germany is so attractive, how come 99% of migrants are unskilled?
1
@alex__3897 I can school you on every single aspects on German Institutions. German tax (Sozialversicherung is also TAX) is 50% for Steuerklasse 1. This very video mentions that at 1:30. You clearly did not watch the video either, before dropping your pro Arier rant all over the comment pages. "I really wouldn't imply that the German labor market is intrinsically racist" And "Just like when you tried to teach me about taxation." assertion is not evidence. Throw facts.
1
@GeorgHaeder How's that a good element for the economy that you had only 5 employers? You clearly had no better options, or worse, no financial incentives because of institutional reasons (taxes).
1
@To.Si.Ma. Germans are excellent at PR blitz, turning all negatives as positives. Rudeness = directness. Own interests = EU interests, rock bottom salary with some freebies thrown in = socialism, low social mobility = equal outcome society.
1
@Mar Coac Do not bother with argument. The presenter just wants to present a German hagiography, and would pick selectively or twist any given data in favour of Germany.
1
@alex__3897 No, it is not inaccurate. Abzug is 50%. Stop lying. Even if it is 46.89745% that is also far too high, given that there are no benefits in return. On top of that, there is staggeringly high racial discrimination.
1
@alex__3897 "accepted many refugees" - So what? Refugees are mostly WHITE.
1
@alex__3897 "But it's not a deep rooted problem" - Yes, it is. That you consider only hate crimes as racism, and do not see discrimination and microaggression as racism at all, is enough evidence of society wider racism.
1
@alex__3897 You are desperately trying to deflect. This very video where you are commenting, claims that total tax ( i.e. Abzug, not necessarily just Einkommensteuer) is 50%. Even if we accept your fake info, that is 35%, it is still too much, because the money is siphoned to fund welfare jobs of Beamter (whose profile is 100% white).
1
@alex__3897 Still inequalities? You mean 100% white. I am regularly in contact with Bloomberg office in London (touch less than 50% British) and Frankfurt (about 95% German, and nearly 100% white) also concerning gender equality - is racism too. Traditionally German women worked in Kindergarten and Reception. At the most school teacher or human resource And now, the "diversity" venture wants to place German women next in line, to prevent POC men from entering into position of power?
1
@alex__3897 Actually there is no fun if you diversity as choice. It has to be ZWANGHAFT. Diversity must be forced on racists. That is real fun. Even people should be forced to have mixed race kids to eliminate race privilege of Caucasians.
1
@alex__3897 Still waiting for the credentials that Germany is not racist
1
@alex__3897 If you disagree with a statement, then mention which evidence would make you agree with the statement. If you cannot answer it, you are INHERENTLY biased, and would always reject every argument presented in favour of the statement, that Germany is racist. 1. Even non EU migrants being white 2. Corporate and civil service homogeneity 3. Lack of media diversity 4. Lack of interracial relationships 5. General image of aggressive society, especially targeting migrants 6. Frequent hate crimes --- are evidence of racist society
1
@alex__3897 Furthermore, I would not have to prove Germany is racist. Germany has done largest genocide on Earth. So the ball is in your court. You will prove Germany is liberal and tolerant. Something you cannot.
1
@alex__3897 Do people also have to "prove" Holocaust? Eh. Nordic Caucasian.
1
@alex__3897 First every country does not have racist. A German would not be treated equally, but would be treated like God in Thailand, Vietnam, even India. And I do not care how many racists Germany have. As long as they DO NOT have decision making rights (like UK already implemented) it should be fine. Everything should be pre-defined, and a centimeter deviation from meritocracy, should be labelled as discrimination. Plus, social issues should be mandatorily viewed through racism glasses. And outrage should be part of NORMAL lives. That is permanent revolution. Everyone keeps everyone in check.
1
@JayCRossi Any Abzug, which is paid by individual for the "society" is TAX. Get that inside your thick head.
1
@JayCRossi Germany has second highest average tax (=Abzug, doesn't matter if it is Sozialversicherung or EinkommenSteuer), in the entire World, after Belgium, which is entirely spent in funding welfare jobs of near 100% ethnic German administrative class (Beamter)
1
@nw2944 True, but Germany in general is ver good in propagating positive stereotypes about themselves (extremely rule abiding, honest to the point of own sacrfice, 100% rational) or twist the negative stereotypes to positive (rude = directness, low salary + sweeteners like subsidised canteens as "social" initiatives, extremely efficient, where efficiency is normal result of 4+ years as slave wage Azubis, or long route of Praktikum to full time job) . Language barrier on social media, and extremely compliant mainstream news media ensures that negative news about Germany do not propagate too far. And left liberal English media remain enamoured by "social spending" in Germany, when in reality Germans are abysmally underpaid for labour market productivity demand.
1
@francescogreco9826 All of the negatives you mentioned are true for Germany as well. Except, Germans are better at twisting their operations to fit the legal norms, yet evading the taxes. E.g. many middle rung Germans firms are based in low tax Luxembourg. Furthermore, Germany justifies many things as "end justifies the means". Because Germany had been performing well on economy (at least until 2019), whatver it did, must have been good. In reality: not so much.
1
@dartnight365 We are on the winning side.
1
@lavi5h If German Mittelstand is so good, why do they earn pittance? Taste of the pudding is in eating.
1
@lavi5h Hello Chatbot
1
@u105686 Doesn't negate the point at hand. An ISIS hater can well be correct, and mostly are.
1
@alex__3897 Furnish DE's liberal credentials. We will take it forward from there. But be under no misapprehension. We have enough decibel on media and social media, to float anti German narrative, no matter how much accolades you earn on English Left wing media because of social welfare handouts
1
@alex__3897 Alexa, read me out the facts on racial discrimination in Germany. White Syrians and other Südländer must not be included among "racial diversity" list.
1
@alex__3897 I provided evidences: it is for you to counter them with facts. Not throw tantrums. Start from here: even non EU migrants are WHITE. Why is that?
1
@alex__3897 Anything race correlated is RACISM. Including refusing to hire black models for adverts, or refusing Asians on Tinder.
1
@alex__3897 "There are plenty of non-white migrants in Germany" - Examples? Evidences? "Just not from the 70s and 80s"- So 70s and 80s had de facto WHITE only Migrationspolitik? Eh "Syria Iraq Afghanistan"- ALL WHITES. How come Canada, Australia, UK are much more diverse? Even among refugees, Germany selected the White ones. In Sweden, it is much more mixed, and include Somalian and Eritrean. Their absence, is evidence of racism in Germany.
1
@alex__3897 Turkish are out and out White. Block migration of Turks prove the allegation of racism. And even Turks won't be there, had eastern Europe not been behind Iron curtain, during Wiederaufbau phase
1
@alex__3897 My arguments are founded on facts. Germany is as far as Africa as France is to Africa, and much closer to Africa than Britain is to India. There are 1000x Blacks or Indians in France and UK. There are million South Asians in Canada. They are not in Germany, not because of distance, but because of German racism. Ball is in your court.
1
@alex__3897 Geographical distance is not a reason for preferential immigration. People geographically closer to you are racially closer. So it is racist to be preferential to them.
1
@alex__3897 "we haven't had colonies long enough to have a black population."- 1. You did have Colonies in Namibia, Cameroon, Gabon. 2. Where you DID NOT have colonies are Yugoslavia and Turkey, but there are zillions from these countries in Germany, classfied as "racial diversity" aka Südländer, which they are not. They got preferential treatment because they are WHITE 3. Geographical distance between guest and host Nations are totally immaterial. Migrants are travelling the distance, not YOU.
1
@alex__3897 Hello Hello Nat si. Keine Antwort? Eh?
1
@alex__3897 It is a challenge to you. If we WILL dilute the "superior" Arier Nordic Caucasia DNA: the basis of racism and oppression. Or better, make the oppressor DNA cease to exist. No oppressor, no oppression.
1
Taste of the pudding is in eating. If Germany is top ranking in terms of educational rigour, and below average ranking in terms of wealth ownership, it would mean reward to effort ratio of average citizens, is among the worst. Again proving, Germany is a consortium of industrialists, keeping the population at level of well fed plebs, not high enough to fairly challenge upper class (in a liberal free market), but not low enough to burst into a French revolution.
1
This video is a borderline propaganda video. Germany applies "meritocracy" in primary education, effectively screening ethnic German students (in Gymnasium) from migrant origin students (in Hauptschule), purely based on German communication skills. While remains bloody mindedly opposed to real meritocracy in higher education: no proper university ranking or transparent graduate recruitment programs, not to mention language barrier in labour market. Thereby sheltering mediocre Germans from high performing foreign students from emerging countries like China and India (along with EU students, the latter being ENTITLED to equal opportunity, in reality, not so much).
