Don't worry, it'll take minimum another 15+ years AFTER fullfilling the Copenhagen Criteria, until the UK might join the EU = as it's up to the EU27 only, to decide, which country can join the EU and when 😂 The UK doesn't even fulfill the needed criteria for APPLYING for EU membership = a national debt of max 55 %, the UKs national debt is at 101,2 % recently 😂 Thanks for Brexiting with greetings from the EU27 😎

Apart from "who decides, which people are allowed to vote or not" = it's NOT democratic, to "cut out" people from the right to vote !! Edit typo/autocorrect

@Max88-xl2si Well, until 1918 men, aged 21-50ish, married, were allowed to vote only = that is not democratic at all.. Think about it, before "wishing/demanding" restrictions like that = as you or your kids also could be one of those, which couldn't vote anymore...

@Max88-xl2si That also would be discrimination of people above a certain age... What is with all of those youngsters, which were allowed to vote at the referendum, but didn't bother to vote? I'm a born EU citizen, living in the EU27 with my London born spouse...half of my family are British = of which half of them voted for Brexit...the oldest ones = voted remain = for the future of their grand children and great grand children... You can't judge people just on their age...it doesn't work like that... BUT = more impact it would have, to educate British people already at school = about the EU, how it works and what it's for = like it's usual in ALL EU27 member states !! Political education including critical thinking = is part of our education at school over here... Edit typo/autocorrect

@Max88-xl2si I'm NOT elderly, but a born EU citizen = no extra education needed...opposit to most Brits... Before applying for EU membership = there urgently would be education needed about the EU, how it works and what it's for, that there is a Parliament with its democratic elected MEPs (with PR), working on behalf of the 450ish million EU citizens and its member states... Don't demand stuff for the EU27, while it is a lack of education within the UK only 🙄 Watching this Brexit sh£t Show, it's quite sad, how many Brits didn't/still don't know, that there is a EU Parliament with democratic elections = every five years since 1979... And so far you didn't bother to answer about all of those youngsters which didn't bother to vote at all... your oppinion is pretty outbalanced 😒 Edit typo/autocorrect

@Max88-xl2si There is an existing system, that's called "democracy"...education is the core of every democracy. .if it's not done properly, like in the UK = still and only talking about the "glory of the Empire" = is not helpfull one bit... You were stating, that "I'm probably an elderly person"...🙄 As you're supposedly a born EU citizen, you should know and see the differences between Continental EU and UK political education...as it is very obvious... Have a nice evening 🖐
