  1. Please look up for Robert Schuman, the "father of Europe", born in Luxembourg (at that time German, later French", who's idea of a European Union started in the 1920s. Robert Schuman was the first President of the European Parliament. His book "for Europe" is available at the EUs Commission site book shop. Please look up for Jean Monnet, the other "architect" of the EU = the "Schuman plan". Please look up about the "treaty of Rome" from 1957....THAT was the beginning of the EU27 😊 Greetings from the EU27 🖐

  3. Correct. But you were member in a union/EU, with 450 million citizens/potential customers...frictionless, tarrif free... Btw, the EU27 were in negotiations with the USA for four years, in the end the EUs negotiators stopped all negotiations, because the USA were demanding issues like "chloride chicken, hormon boosted beef, gen manipulated food/unmarked = all not allowed/wanted in the EUs SM, and those private arbitration courts, where any US company could claim billions of € as "compensation" from any EU member state/the EUs Commission etc, because of "loss of profit", in case the EU27 might change laws/rules/standards in the future... even if the product of that US company didn't even exis at that time.....THAT would have opened US companies doors to endless claimings for billions of compensation......
