The UK is loosing £100 billion per year since Brexit | Bloomberg To join the EU again will go like that: the UK/GB has to apply for EU membership by fulfilling the Copenhagen Criteria FIRST (which would be monitored by the EUs Commission), if none of the EU27 member states vetos the UK/GB joining the EU again, only then the UK/GB would receive the status as a "candidate for EU membership", and then the 35 chapters (which would be monitored by the EUs Commission) have to be fulfilled/implemented properly (if not done properly, joining process stops), which could take decades... No exceptions, no cherry picking, no fast track, no opt outs, as stated by various EU spokesmen/negotiators recently. It's mandatory for ALL NEW EU member states, to join the Schengen area and adapt the €/Euro, as soon as the new EU member state has a stabile enough economy. At the moment the UK is moving away from fulfilling the Copenhagen Criteria ... Estimated time needed for joining the EU again, about 15ish years, as the EUs negotiators/spokesmen stated, they know due to experience of other countries joining process... Notice: various countries with the status as a "candidate for EU membership" are stuck at exactly that, because they haven't implemented the 35 chapters... therefor are still no EU member states... Just saying, because the UK still hasn't implemented properly neither the TCA nor the NIP/Windsor agreement it signed with the EU on free will. Before the UK might join the EU again education is needed urgently about the EU, how it works and what it's for, that there is a Parliament with its democratic elected MEPs (with PR), working on behalf of the democratic elected EU27 member states Gvts and their 450ish million citizens, otherwise the UKs electorate might vote "leave" again at the following GE, and the EU27 definetely wouldn't want a "Brexit 2.0" again. That the EU27 are mainly a peace project, using trade for the benefits of its citizens. Please look up for Robert Schuman, the "father of Europe ", born in Luxembourg (at that time German, later French), who's idea of a European Union started in the 1920s. Robert Schuman was the first President of the European Parliament. His book "for Europe " is available at the EUs Commission site book shop.   2. Apart from: being in the SM is available only for EU members and EFTA members only, not though for 3rd countries.... As stated by various EUs negotiators/spokesmen "no deal will be as good or even better than being EU member" or the short cut version "club member benefits are for club members only". Btw, we're very thankfull over here, that the Allies have freed the European Continent from the Nazi terror, but Britain had big support by the Polish, Canadians, Russians, Americans etc... What about Edward VIII and his (later) American wife, as both of them were big fans of H, same goes for Mosley and his brown shirts... If Edward VIII didn't have to step down because of his American wife, the UK would have had a Nazi King, imagine the bad image for the UK, after the war finished... Farages Pension gets paid by the Brits, this is one part of the money, the UK still has to pay (back) to the EU = the pensions of those 90ish British MEPs and their backoffice staff, which were working on behalf of the British people in the 47 years of EU membership... Why should us EU citizens pay the pensions for the British MEPs and their backoffice staff? Greetings from the EU27 😊

  6. Expect that in about 20ish years to happen... It's about 15+ years AFTER fullfilling the Copenhagen Criteria, which have to be fulfilled BEFORE applying for EU membership, if none of the EU27 member states vetos the UK/GB joining the EU again... Next GE in the UK in two years plus minimum 15ish years, as stated by various EUs negotiators/spokesmen due to experience of other countries joining process the EU... The UK is moving away from fulfilling the Copenhagen Criteria recently.. Greetings from the EU27 😊

As there was info going around in the EU at that time, with the friendly advice/hint, that it might be better, to use those regulations, most EU member states followed that advice... Malta and Cyprus (wonderful countries) weren't probably on the "favourite lists" of the citizens of the New EU member states... Blair was warned by the EUs spokesmen, btw... Greetings from the EU27 😊
