@traveler4282
"They" didn't "run away", they couldn't be bothered anymore.
THAT makes a huge difference.
When a country/Afghanistan, gets support with infrastructure, money, schools, hospitals, drinking water, electricity etc, and still after 20 years of doing so, half of its population can't be bothered to support any of that, then it should be left alone.
This is exactly what "they" did.
Ahh, and now the "fantastic" Taliban are crying for ..... errr...
money, food, water, medicine, hospitals, .... bla, bla, bla ...
Sort your own sh*t.... 😎

@cocamilo22 Nat gas is also/ mostly used by the industry as raw material for proceeding things like steel, glass, paper, medical units, Aspirin, dairy products, cosmetics, car tyres, plastics etc. Only about 15% of Nat gas over here in Germany is used for heating. So yes, EU/ Germany have to protect their industries, so they don't collapse because of no nat gas. Once the industry doesn't exist anymore in the EU countries, others in the world would take over, and it would be difficuilt to get it back. But: we'll make it 😉
