The German network agency is recently doing a "stress test" to check up the stability of the system, in case France has ongoing problems with its nuclear power plants (they are producing 80% of French electricity - normally). The EU has worked out a energy support plan, so the EU member states will support each other. We'll make it 😉

  34. No chance for that, as the EU doesn't take any countries being at war nor being partly occupied or at some other sort of conflict. The EU27 have the same " military alliance/ support agreement" as Nato member states, and most EU member states are Nato members as well. Apart from that Ukraine has to fulfill the Copenhagen Criteria first including sorting the massive corruption as well as getting the invader out of Ukraine territory. Until it doesn't go along with the Copenhagen Criteria the EU has stopped most of EU subsidies for Poland ... Same goes for Hungary, the EU declared Hungary to be a "none fully democracy" anymore... Btw, Poland is the largest receiver of EU subsidies while Germany is the biggest funder of EU... Just saying Edit typo

  43.  @aniawo5119  Germany is the worlds second largest donor for humanitarian aid (USA is first), since 2014 Germany is the largest donor to Ukraine, without that money Ukraine couldn't even pay the pensions, the civil servants nor the soldiers anymore either. Some weeks ago the German army has installed various Patriot air defense systems (owed by German army) along the eastern Polish border to protect Poland towards Russia/Belarus. Same was done in Slowakia. Still "swimming" in the past, Trumpling ?! Why don't move to Russia, you would appreciate the "tough leadership/dictatorship" there I suppose ... LOL Btw, Poland and Germany are the "training hubs" for the about 14.000ish Ukrainian soldiers/technicians, and it's going pretty "smooth" with their army cooperation.....

  61.  @cocamilo22  Nat gas is also/ mostly used by the industry as raw material for proceeding things like steel, glass, paper, medical units, Aspirin, dairy products, cosmetics, car tyres, plastics etc. Only about 15% of Nat gas over here in Germany is used for heating. So yes, EU/ Germany have to protect their industries, so they don't collapse because of no nat gas. Once the industry doesn't exist anymore in the EU countries, others in the world would take over, and it would be difficuilt to get it back. But: we'll make it 😉

  71. @finton Mainz Military support to Ukraine: rank 1 : USA rank 2: UK rank 3: Germany Humanitarian aid and money for Ukraine: rank 1: USA rank 2: Germany On top of that Germany is doing the AWACS ( sky spying) in cooperation with the US forces, is providing the Airbus A310 MedEvac ( the flying intense care hospital of the German army, is taking all heavily injured Ukrainian soldiers and has taken about 1.1ish million Ukrainian refugees so far ( figures still raising). Since 2014 Germany is doing its NATO job at the Baltics with about 1.700 troops ( from which two thirds are German) including equipment, another 2.000 German troops are on stand by in case of urgent needed action. Germany is also doing the air policing at the Baltics as well as some German Fregates are " cruising" in the Baltic Sea to protect the Baltics from the sea side. Since January the NRFNato responce force with about 11.000 troops ( from which 8.000 are German troops) incl full equipment ( like about 40ish Leopard 2 A7V and other "stuff" ) are at the Baltics as well.

Other banks worked together with the US banks, like Credit Suisse (greed eats brain). About Brexit: yes, whats ongoing in the UK/GB is happening due to Brexit. When a country is "cutting itself off" from the worlds biggest SM/trading bloc, food supply/energy share etc, of course it happens what happens now in Britain. Brexit has multiplied the problems, while the EU27 are sharing food, energy etc, plus the EU27 Gvts and EUs Commission have put up a huge package of financial support for its citizens and industry/companies etc. Greetings from the EU27

The EUs Parliament is the worlds second largest democratic Parliament (with PR) with secret, free and independent elections every five years since 1979.   87. Nuclear power was always heavily subsidiesed from day one, and adding all costs on top ( radioactive waste etc), then its the most expansive of all energy productions. Renewables are the cheapest, but the way the energy market is sortet, the most expansive one "rules" the prices.
