  8. Since yesterday the German army installed various Patriot air defense systems (owed by German army) along the eastern Polish border to protect Poland towards Russia. Same as in Slowakia. Greetings from Germany Slava Ukraine 😉

The elected MEPs are working/acting on behalf of each member state of the EU. Btw, about 90ish British MEPs (elected by the British people) were working/acting on behalf of the British people in the EUs Parliament. Greetings from the EU 😉

  23. ​​​ @cnordegren  Nope, Germany is off since September 2022 😉 Norway, Belgium and the Netherlands have taken over from Russia with delivering nat gas to the EU27. Add on: Germany is/was forwarding nat gas to the Ukraine, Poland, Austria, Tchechia and some other countries as well. Those countries had to fill up their nat gas buffers before winter first. Apart from Hungary all of the EU27 member states don't do imports of Russian nat gas anymore. Typo

  27.  @kaysmith4594  I'm sorry to say, that that's exactly the attitude of native English speaking people. Never heard any person from a none speaking English country mowning about that, as all of those countries make sure, that their people are speaking more than their mothertongue. Btw, it's not always and only English as a second or third language. And I know what I'm talking about with a circle of English friends and a married on English family 😉 Like: when "my" London born spouse started to learn German, some of our English friends were asking:"whats that for, you're speaking English?!!"

  29. In Germany it's not allowed by law to say different, as long it's not officially confirmed by court. Therefor those"ifs, might, could" etc But they wouldn't have done those raids without severe proove, as raids have to be confirmed by a prosecutor first.

  30.  @guciodestroyer2432  And Germany reduced its Russian nat gas imports from 56 % (beginning of the war) down to 10 % (in August), and since September no Russian nat gas gets delivered anymore. Btw, Hungary still imports full amount of Russian nat gas (85 % of Hungary's total nat gas consumption), but somehow that doesn't seem to anoy anybody.

Since 2014 Germany is doing its NATO job at the Baltics with about 1.700 troops ( from which two thirds are German), another 2.000 German troops are on stand by in case of urgent needed action. Germany is also doing the air policing at the Baltics as well as some German Fregates are "cruising" in the Baltic Sea to protect the Baltics from the sea side. Since January the NRFNato VJTF responce force with about 11.000 troops ( from which 8.000 are German troops) incl full equipment ( like about 40ish Leopard 2 A7V and other " stuff") are at the Baltics as well. Add typo 😉

  47. 18°C at the moment, thanks 😉 Btw, most of nat gas is used by the industry as raw material for proceeding steel, glass, paper and lots of other things. 48% of Germany's electricity gets produced with renewables (wind, solar, water). I' m using only wind power for my electricity since 15 years. Greetings from Germany 😉
