Because THAT is the hottest time of the day, partly up to 38-40°C, therefor there is a three hours mid-day brake, but they work to nine o'clock in the evenings...that goes for most southern EUropean countries !! Only tourists from the northern countries are "running around" at the hottest time of the day or still laying at the beach, trying to get "lobster teint" 😂
