@RyzenShanks The EU27 have the same " military alliance/ support agreement" as Nato member states have and most of the EU member states are Nato members as well. No country at war can join the EU neither can a country partly been occupied or at some other sort of conflict join the EU. Greetings from the EU27

@hoang1730 You didn't get it: as long Ukraine is at war or partly occupied it can't join the EU !! Only chance to join the EU: Russia leaves the territory of Ukraine completely = war is over, only then Ukraine could join the EU !! If Russia would invade Ukraine again after it joined the EU it would cause WW III with about 35ish (EU and Nato member states) countries involved, I doubt the Russians would like that ... Forgot to say: opposit to now, where Nato/EU27 are supporting Ukraine with military equipment/ humanitarian aid and money, but NOT supporting with troops nor going into Russia, this would be a total different issue if Russia would invade/ attack Ukraine when being a EU member state. Of course Nato/ EU member states would attack Russia directly = WW III. Greetings from the EU27 Edit typo

@zadovrus1624 I know, as I wrote it in my first answer to someone here: the EU doesn't take any countries being at war nor being partly occupied. But thanks anyway 😉

@RyzenShanks As I wrote beforehand, the EU27 has the same "military alliance/ support agreement" as Nato member states have. Most EU27 member states are Nato members as well, therefor it doesn't really matter ... Btw, the EU27 has more money spent for Ukraine then the USA by now.

@RyzenShanks Ok, that sounds different and I agree with that. Apart from USA, Canada, UK, and the few Balkan states, EU and Nato members are identical, but of course, from Russias "regional position", Ukraine comes always first in case of another attack, as Ukraine is a direct neighbour country towards Russia. Could be a never ending story ...
