  2. Germany doesn't want to "lead", that question was done by the moderator! But Germany is the biggest funder in the EU and the world wide second largest donor. And the worlds fourth largest economy. No arrogance there.

  3.  @tat3179  The energy of the future is green hydrogen, not fossil fuels. Wind and sun are available mostly everywhere. The EU has a goal to convert complete to green energy, time table is focused on 2030-2045.
