Comments by "SaBa" (@saba1030) on "Is German reluctance to send tanks undermining the country as a reliable European partner? | DW News" video.
@mihaimsl The American forces are in Germany simply for the USAs benefits, as it's the largest US airbase in Europe. Without that airbase the US forces would have problems to reach easily any of the mediterranian areas/countries. About 20ish nukes are "stuffed" in German ground as well. Bremerhaven is the port for Nato as well, getting military equipment in/out of Europe, and is under high protection/ infrastructure at the moment due to the recent war.

@Paul-qs3nu In case you're English, then about 30ish % of your DNA is Saxon (research from 2019), therefor one third of you is Germanic. LOL Btw: since January the NRFNato responce force with about 11.000 troops ( from which 8.000 are German troops) incl full equipment (like about 40ish Leopard 2 A7V and other "stuff) are at the Baltics. Since 2017 Germany is doing its NATO job at the Baltics with about 1.700 troops ( from which two thirds are German), another 2.000 German troops are on stand by in case of urgent needed action. Germany is also doing the air policing at the Baltics as well as some German Fregates are "cruising" in the Baltic Sea to protect the Baltics from the sea side. You shouldn't read the "Daily Sh£t" every day LOL Typo

@deborahbarbour2241 NO. It's the German people, nearly 50/50 are either pro delivering the Leo's or contra. For none German's it must sound coward, but with our terrible past all of us grew up with the attitude: never again anything like that starts from Germany etc. I know the Ukrainian's need help, and apart from these MBTs Germany has sent very powerful, most modern armery etc., but again: he's the Chancellor for/of the German's and they are "devided". Btw, I'm pro. Should think, that Germany might give permission for other countries... Greetings from Germany

@Katy Newt You know why this happened? Poland and Germany agreed on the so called "ring exchange", Poland gives it's Soviet tanks to Ukraine (as Germany didn't have Soviet tanks anymore), because the Ukraine needed support straight away after the war started, and the Ukrainian troops only had Soviet tanks as well, no training needed. In exchange to that Germany and Poland agreed on Poland will receive Leopards for that. After the ring exchange happened, Poland suddenly demanded the most modern German battle tanks (for free), the "Panther". Of course it didn't happen. You also have to be aware, that this year elections are coming up in Poland as usual there is always a bit of "German bashing", to "boost" the PIS party keeping in Gvt. It's never as simple as it might look like.

@teresabenson3385 Hmmm, why is it then, that since beginning of the war, the US forces have "stocked up" their military equipment massivly along Alaskas coast line, which is only some miles away from the Russian border "at the other side of the sea"? Todays world with all those high tech armery has become quite "small". Greetings from the EU27 Add typo

@loucool1707 As a Nato partner Germany has put an air defence system (Patriot) at Polands east border recently. Another two (of Germany's army) Patriot systems are stationed in Slowakia, as part of the "European air defence shield". At the beginning the Polish were concerned (German military equipment/ troops in Poland) but in the end 😉 Add typo

@czerskip Good luck with the elections in Poland this year! I'll cross the fingers for a change of Gvt! Greetings from an EU family member 😉

@danielwhyatt3278 It has, just looked up for that: Canadian army, Turkish army (which was stopped by Germany, because Turkiye was using it in Syria). Please just use the Inet, as all of us are using it here, to get informed 😉 Add on: the Leo is/was a good "shelter" for the troops when got attacked... Add typo 😉

@aleksandraslisauskas2871 Just look up for : Canadian army has been using it and they were very happy that it safed the lifes of the troops when got attacked In the field .... Add on: since 2014 Germany is doing its NATO job at the Baltics/Lithuania with about 1.700 troops (from which two thirds are German) including equipment, another 2.000 German troops are on stand by in case of urgent needed action. Germany is also doing the air policing at the Baltics as well as some German Fregates are " cruising" in the Baltic Sea to protect the Baltics from the sea side. Greetings from Germany 😉 Add: corrected date 2014

@sergeyb8 Please look up for the Canadian army, they are using the Leopards and were/ are happy with it, as the Leo protected their troops very well, when being under direct attack. Add typo

@aleksandraslisauskas2871 It was preventive, in case of 😉 I'd looked up for Leopards in combat, and Canada, Turkiye, both popped up. It was used in Afghanistan, Kosovo, Syria and other war areas ... Why should they build a tank which is useless. Most successfull sold tank in the world. In case you're asking me: yes, I hope they get delivered soon ! Greetings from Germany 😉 Add typo

@aleksandraslisauskas2871 Yup, to be honest, for me it's a mystery as well, especially as the Gepard systems, IRIS-T, MARS II or PZH2000 are real beasts as well. I thought, like probably most people, that the Gvt would give permission yesterday at the Nato meeting at Ramstein. Now they're saying over here, that at beginning of next week some decision should come up. We'll see next week .... stay optimistic !! All the best with greetings to Lithuania from Germany 😉 Add typo

@aleksandraslisauskas2871 Yes, I hope so too!! Ahh, didn't know about that, thanks for the info ! All the best to you, stay safe, with greetings to Lietuva from Deutschland 😉
