@Lorenz1973 Eventhough by "rights", as agreed with ALL allies, it wasn't "allowed", to declare any of the two Berlin "halfs" to be a capital... but the Russians and GDR did it anyway... Edit typo/autocorrect

@theChaosKe 😊 The "only" connection, (apart from being a united Germany) Saxony-Anhalt (only the Saxony part) has with Lower-Saxony/Bremen/Hamburg is, that those todays federal states were the original territories of the ancient Saxons 😊 I like Quedlinburg very much though... Edit typo/autocorrect

@happymelon7129 Germany is a souvereign country... As the German army has installed various Patriot air defense systems (owed by German army) along the eastern Polish border to protect Poland towards Russia and Belarus, does that mean now, that Poland isn't a souvereign country anymore? NO. That's called Nato...of which the USA are a member as well as Germany etc... 😊
