  3. Hello Neighbour 😉 You are aware that Germany is forwarding nat gas to Ukraine, Poland, Tchechia, Austria and some other countries? The EU countries will support each other and resist the Russian bear. Greetings from Germany 😉

  4. Agree to that, but: hardly any heat pumps are available anymore (sold out) because of the recent situation! But nat gas for heating is only about 15%, the most of nat gas is used in the German industry as raw material for proceeding things like steel, glass, paper, medical units, Aspirin, dairy products, cosmetic products etc, etc. This is why EU/Germany want to replace nat gas with green hydrogen in the near future. Its on the way, time plan was focused on 2030-2045 to be compleately off with coal/oil/nat gas. Because of this terrible war it all has to be done in "fast forward" modus including interims solutions. Greetings from Germany 😉

  5.  @MrLoobu  Well, providing and paying infrastructure shouldn't be a problem for Germany, it has been done a few times as jointventures/cooperations. Could be a win win for the Canadian East after all these decades of "nothing happens" 😉

Well, all I can say is, that Federal Minister Habeck has pushed it that way, that Germany will have six floating LNG terminals (convertable to hydrogen and recently under construction) ready at the end of this year, beginning next year. Everything is in "fast forward" modus because of the terrible war now.

  9.  @sarahbrown5073  All ex east block countries where originally connected to Russia being part of the ex Soviet Union, bit by bit the pipeline connections where redirected towards the EU/Germany. Some countries where only recently disconnected from Russia when war was started.

  12.  @Masterrunescapeer  The recent German Gvt has set time tables to convert complete to renewables. The focus is on 2030-2045. Because of this terrible war its all on "fast forward" modus now including interims solutions like using coal power plants again. The north produces more wind the south more solar energy.   13.  @Masterrunescapeer  So why is Soeder demanding Lower Saxony to build more windmill parks, do fracking, of course in LS, take Bavarias radioactive dumb and refuses to get the south link done? Living in Bremen, we have plenty of windmill energy here, more than needed, but still Bavaria is the break on getting the power from the North into the South. Greetings from Bremen 😉

  15.  @1995krampe  But you are aware that most houses in Germany are the older ones with oil/ nat gas central heatings at the moment? Will take some time, until all of those systems are converted. They just stated, that in the north of Lower Saxony, 14 trains running on hydrogen, started their service today. Green hydrogen is the future! Greetings from Bremen 😉
