@ppzav NO. Please look up for Robert Schuman, the "father of Europe", born in Luxembourg (at that time German, later French), who's idea of a European Union started in the 1920s. His book "for Europe" is available at the book shop of the EUs Commission site.

@ppzav 😉 I was refering to your answer that "the UK was one of the founders of the EU", therefor my answer was "please look up for Robert Schuman", as most Brits are claiming, that Churchill had the idea ... The "proceeding" of todays EU I know about 😉 And yes, you're correct about the "Brits getting back control" LOL Have a nice day with greetings from a EU family member 😉
