This year elections are coming up in Poland, therefor the PIS party is doing the usual German bashing to "boost" the PIS party keeping in power. Btw, until Germany stated that it will deliver Leopards 2 A6 Poland hadn't even sent the official request from Gvt to Gvt. Only one day later it did. Just saying ....

The logistics in/ out Ukraine gets mostly done by "Deutsche Bahn", about 14.000ish Ukrainian soldiers/ technicians are in Germany for training since October, but they don't say for what equipment. Since some days Ukrainian soldiers/ technicians are in Germany for training on the Leopards. Add on: the PZH2000 gets repaired in Lithuania, when needed. The Lithuanian army has build up a "repair unit" for the PZH2000. Seems to go "smooth".

But the Gepard (tank in German as it's armered like a tank, and apart from the turret/ which is anti air craft/ drones etc is a Leopard 1 tank) is a mobile "air defense system", designed to delete drones, helicopters, anything flying, with its two canons shooting about 1.200 shots per minute, a real "beast" and was extra developed to support the Leopard as a team. Please look up for it .. Edit Leopard 1 /Gepard

Turkiye and Greece have about 500 Leopards 2 each, but won't send any, nor won't Austria. From the about 950ish Leopard 2 A4/5/6/7 most of them are in actively use for the NRFNATO responce force all along the east Nato border. The EU member states will send about 90ish Leopard 2 A4/5/6 to Ukraine this spring time. Training has already started. The 100 Leopard 1 from German stock plus another 80ish Leopard 1 from the Netherlands and Denmark plus some Challengers will be sent as well ... Abrams will be send in one year. Add on: Germany has sent MARS II, IRIS-T, PZH2000, Gepard systems, COBRA, Marders, Buffalos, Beavers and other "heavy animals" as well, still ongoing ... Edit typo/ autocorrect

Poland and Germany agreed to do a so called " ring exchange", as Germany didn't have Soviet tanks anymore but Poland had and the Ukrainian soldiers could use those Soviet tanks straight away without training needed. Germany did these "ring exchanges" with various EU member states and compensated those countries either with money or Leopards. So if you want in the backround Germany was delivering Soviet tanks as well / or the other mentioned countries were doing it "on behalf" of Germany..

  40. NO. Since some weeks the German army has installed various Patriot air defense systems (owed by German army) along the eastern Polish border to protect Poland towards Russia. Same was done in Slowakia. That's the reality 😉

Those 14 Leopard 2 A6 going to Ukraine end of March have been taken directly from the German army. There are about 2.000 Leopard 2 in the EU and Turkiye. Turkiye and Greece have about 500 Leopards each, but won't give any to Ukraine, nor does Austria. From the about 950ish Leopard 2 in the EU most of them are in recent use for the NRFNATO responce force, therefor only a few are left to pass on to Ukraine. The EU member states will send about 90ish Leopard 2 plus those 100 Leopards 1 from German stock plus another 80ish Leopard 1 from the Netherlands and Denmark....
