@claus-not-santa The EU27/Germany will replace all fossil fuels (oil, coal, nat gas) with green hydrogen, the goal is focused on 2030-2045. Hydrogen can be used as storage battery for the overloads from the offshore windmills and others as well as raw material for proceeding things like steel, glass, paper etc as well. Lots of start ups are working on alternative storage possibilities as well. Electrolyseurs (wind to power) are under construction everywhere as well. Airbus Bremen is developing hydrogen powered airplanes in cooperation with the Ariane Group Bremen, the goal is focused on 2035. Arcelor-Mittal Bremen steel mill and Saarstahl steel mill received € 1,3 billion EU subsidies to build their own electrolyseurs/windmills and arc furnaces to produce green steel in the near future.

@claus-not-santa Ahh, a real clever smart we've got here 😂 The EU27 are all connected within each other via = interconnectors, that goes for nat gas and electricity ...therefor Germany could deliver electricity to Spain or Lithuania, as well as Norway can deliver nat gas not only to Germany, but to Danmark as well...or to any other EU member state 😊 Germany is /was forwarding nat gas to the Ukraine, Poland, Austria, Tchechia and some other countries as well... @soreeyez There were direct Pipelines from Sibiria to BASF = the worlds largest chemical production plant = which has the same consumption of energy per year as the whole of Switzerland... To transport nat gas a proper and safe infrastructure is needed.. Btw, NOT the German gvt did these nat gas deals, but the companies themselfs...as Germany isn't a country like China or Russia, where ALL companies are owned by the state/gvt, it's up to the companies.... Since the war German gvt has put restrictions onto that sort of "business model", as the nat gas infrastructure etc is part of a countries "critical infrastructure", therefor German gvt will have a eye onto certain behaviours of companies...

Again, Germany is the country, which is developing and building ALL those machineries/technologies etc, which get used World wide to produce/make things...
