  3. There was a place in Germany where the people did suspect and they rebelled against the authorities and because of that the town remained untouched by the regime. I know what you're trying to do. You're trying to dehumanise the Germans from the period to justify what you think and say/said. The German civilians were still victims of horrible war crimes just like the Ukrainians. What you see happening in Ukraine isn't even half of what happened in Germany. And what could the civilians do? The regime ruthlessly disposed of any opposition. Also the Russians kept those same camps working after capturing them and no one did anything about them either.

Usually people come to the store were I work and after seeing bedroom furniture for 1050€ and another for 600€ they opt for the cheaper one thinking they're taking the same product but cheaper. When inreality the 1050€ is of so high quality that even being sold for 1500€ would still be considered cheap, while the ones costing 600€ I wouldn't be taking home for free. Idiots. They think they're beating the seller when they're just fooling themselves.

  8. People who break unreasonable laws aren't any worse. Laws can be unethical, otherwise nobody would bat an eye to laws that allow for slavery. Or are you implying that in underdeveloped countries, where stoning people to death is legal, someone who stones a woman to death because she got pregnant after she was raped is a good citizen?

Otherwise the world would be filled with other outrageous claims and everybody would have to accept them because no one could prove otherwise. Can you prove Unicorns don't live in some alien planet? Unless you visited every planet in the Universe you can't even prove there isn't a planet made of french cheese. Burden of proof lies on those that make the claims not on the people that don't believe on unproven fairy-tales.

It's fine to adopt things that Nazis invented, like highways and animal cruelty laws among other things, what it's not fine is to adopt their behaviour. And I'm not talking about dehumanising the political party, I'm talking about the civilians, who where as much of victims as any other. Congratulations, you learned nothing.

After the regime fell and those lies were brought to light, buildings were graffitied with the German words for "We've been lied to". Do you know what propaganda is? Here's the thing, I once believed the propaganda that was told to me (just like you), but that propaganda only worked untill the moment I started to deepen my knowledge about past events. And it wasn't even that much, just a few things here and there, I'm still pretty much ignorant to most of it, but at least it was enough to get rid of the Dunning Krueger effect. On the other hand, you are still at the point where I was, before I got a trickle of knowledge. Maybe you should watch a couple documentaries.
