They swear an oath, like in medicine, and are barred from doing journalism if they lose their license. Granted, they can still work for magazines, since that's not considered journalism. And all they can be accused of is slander. A lot of people who are considered journalists in other countries aren't in Portugal.

When I went to Ceuta and Morocco, last year, I saw a grand total of 0 black people. And I never said moors conquered the Iberian Peninsula before romans. Also the Moors brought in a genetic disease to Europe, whenever someone is diagnosed with too much iron in their blood, chances are that person is of moor descent. In the region where I live there's a small village, where my mother comes from, that has some people with that disease, most people living in that village is probably of moor descent, my mother included.
