@alexalexx3330 It's not. Once a ship disappears below the horizon no amount of zoom will being it back. Zooming on a ship that didn't disappear below the horizon yet is just that, zooming on a ship that didn't disappear below the horizon. Besides I can still see clouds, planes, stars, etc, which are further away than ships no problem. In matter of fact, I can see further away from high altitude (as in the top of a mountain) than at see level. How do you explain the fact that I can see further that the arbitrary limit you claim without using any device?

@WllKiedSnake You don't see objects, you see light. If enough light can reach your eyes it doesn't matter how far said object is, you'll be able to see it. Invisibility means light could go through or around an object without causing any interference to the image behind it. Long story short, objects don't turn invisible based on an arbitrary rule.

@alexalexx3330 False, if that were true we wouldn't be able to see the sun, the moon, clouds, planes, etc, which are further away from the vanishing point of ships. Don't use arguments that have been debunked already.

@gardenwarrior5524 So witnesses that have nothing to gain in lying can't be taken in consideration? People who flew in Concorde and saw the Earths curvature can't be trusted? Or people who went to South Pole? Or people who filmed the sky in the southern hemisphere rotating in a different direction? Are you going to tell me that I should reject a reality that has been proved thousands of times by thousands of people for thousands of years just because that's "boring"? How about you reject the existence of Portugal? Have you ever been there? I guess 10 million people living in there isn't enough to prove its existence.
