@cyphi474 They claimed vacuum technology, not vacuum system. They have been carefully wording their marketing in a way that leaves the customer interpretation lead to something better than it is, but at the same time leaving room for a legal interpretation that doesn't screw them.

@utrak Earth is space, we're not in a different dimension. "Space vacuum" can be the Earth's atmospheric pressure. It's not technically wrong.

Yeah, the law doesn't seem to help in this case, but the reviewers can. Too bad in Japan reviews aren't allowed. There's no fair use even for review purposes.

@GinEric84 Articles about it? Bad rating? Warn the competent authorities? In my country there's something similar called DECO, I saw articles about microwaves and ovens that violated laws and regulations. I'm pretty sure they reported that to the authorities. But they also warned the readers in the article and immediately disqualified the bad products in the review.

@wakenow7612 False advertising IS illegal. Leaving your vague words to the interpretation of your customers however it is not.

@PointsofData I don't know what you're referring to. But yes, "military grade" means cheapest price, but also means that it has to work.
