  1. Erm, you said only blue stars could turn into supernova, but blue stars can't turn into supernovas type 1a. Those are formed when white dwarves (stars approximately the size of th sun after using all their fuel) in double systems steal mass from the other star until it reaches critical mass and then explode into a 1a supernova. How could you miss that? 1a supernovas are the most important type of supernovas, thanks to them Man was able to figure out the age of the Universe.
