@user-name3366 The worst people you can ever imagine that masquerades hate speech as activism.
SJW is also known as "social justice warrior".
Their job is to find offense on everything and accusing those things of racism, sexism, abelism and all kinds of isms ever conceived.
The thing is that SJWs tend to be everything they accuse others of being (aka projection). They will also call you Nazi if you don't agree with their mental diarrhea.
For example, when they cry racism against black people and black people disagree or prove them wrong SJWs will harass, bully and cancel them (and they'll also target their families if possible).
They basically pretend to speak for minorities so they can accuse people who contradicts them of being racists, abelists, etc. While in reality they are not speaking for anyone but for themselves as they try to push their deranged narrative.
They also push their agenda on industry and commerce leading to a drastic drop in quality of products, making people avoid those products and leading companies to bankruptcy.
That's where the saying "Go woke, go broke" came from.
SJWs are also the creators of cancel culture, a socially accepted terrorist movement, along with other terrorist movements like antifa (a fascist movement that ironically pretends to be fighting fascism).
SJWs support pedophilia as well.
SJWs serve no purpose whatsoever other than to make the world a worse place to live in and make all people around them miserable.

@dxdxdxdxdxd7125 A weeb is lesser version of a weaboo, a weaboo being a person obsessed with Japanese culture and even claiming themselves being Japanese.
A weeb is someone who is obsessed with manga and anime, collects anime figurines and usually has one or more body pillows.
This video has indeed some inaccuracies.
For example, the narrator states that the Shogun was the highest authority of Japan.
Not only that's not true, but also that claim is contradicted in the very images in the video, where there was a pyramid showing the emperor on top.
Not that it matters though, because in that same image the Daymio is in the same position as the Shogun, which is not true.
The Shogun was more like a prime minister, while the daymio was like a governor who governed over a region of Japan.
What Townry said wasn't wrong.
You on the other hand attacked the person making the argument instead of the argument itself.
That is a low IQ move that does nothing.
No matter how much you attack the person, the argument will always stand until you address it.
Sure, your latest reply did a better job at addressing the original comment. But it still was pretty lame.

@metrillbeats First point is ridiculous.
Especially if the SD card slot is in the same slot as the SIM card (my phone can hold 2 SIM cards, why not a SIM card and an SD card?), or have the slot under the back lid (the thing that gave you access to the battery if you ever had the need to remove or replace).
Anyway, anyone with access to the SD card slot would have access to the phone anyway. Unless you let complete strangers to have access to your phone.
Besides, there are apps that do that already. App stores already have big Malware problem.
Second point is equally absurd, if the phone has a slow SD card it can warn the user that the card is slowing down the phone.
My phone warns me that fast charging isn't possible when I connect it to a slow charger.
That would be no different.
While it adds "mechanical parts that can break" (lol):
1. That would happen to people who swapped SD card frequently (the average phone wouldn't have more than a handful of swapping at most)
2. It could still work perfectly without the SD card, just like phones without it already do.
3. That problem is still present with SIM cards, and everybody is fine with them, and they aren't known for breaking frequently.
4. Repairing is a thing.
The absence of SD card slots is so companies can get away with charging people for more storage.
So yes, for the logical side of things, I can safely say your argument is total BS.

@erictoro6519 That makes absolute no sense.
If the Grimm brothers got the idea of Snow White from somewhere else, then make the damn movie about that some other story.
You don't need to mutilate the story called "Snow White" featuring the character called Snow White, that got the name derived from her features.
Besides, saying that people in X country are fans of Snow White bear absolutely no argument on the character's features.
Fine, girls in Latin America are fans of a character called Snow White, So what?
It just means they're fans of a character whose defining traits include being PALE.
Pale enough to be a defining characteristic amongst white people.
A white character playing the role of Snow White (that cared) would bleach her skin to be pale.
But neither the actress cares for the character, nor Disney cares for quality anymore.
The movie will be as bad as the previous Disney ones, and when The critics say the movie is bad, people will call them racists and whatever, because that's the way they do that crap.
They make bad movies, and then include a "diverse cast" so they can get away with it.
Snow White being played by someone who doesn't fit the role is not the biggest of of the movie problems.
It's still a big one.

@adamgates1142 That does nothing to address what I said.
What I said was that you can create your own story and/or universe that's based on another one.
You wouldn't be held accountable for being faithful to the universe you're adapting from.
Meanwhile if you make a movie that's supposed to take place in an already established universe you'll be criticized for the inaccuracies that have been established in it.
The law has nothing to do with it.
Here's an example: Blizzard wanted to make a Warhammer based game, GW said no, Blizzard made its own game based on Warhammer called Warcraft.
Even though Warcraft was based on Warhammer, it was never criticized for not being faithful to Warhammer. Because it wasn't Warhammer, it was its own thing, even though it was based on Warhammer.
If Blizzard made a Warhammer based game, because GW allowed them, and then they made Warcraft with Warhammer name in it, they'd be criticized for their inaccuracies.
It just so happens that a company by the name of Capcom did something like that, where they made games in which had nothing to do with the franchise they slapped the name in, like Resident Evil 5 and 6.
Those were action games that had nothing to do with the names associated with them and Capcom got criticized for that.
If they created a new franchise with those ganes they'd never be criticized for being inaccurate to a franchise they had nothing to do with. Even if they were based on them, I'll go further and say: they wouldn't get the criticism they got even if they were spinoffs and not part of the main series.
You on the other hand seem to be resorting to avoidance to pretend to addressing other people's points in order to make your argument valid.

@Mr6ixty4our I'm playing Unicorn Overlord, Xenoblade Chronicles (1, 2, 3), Total War, Dredge, Ace Attorney, Blasphemous, 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim, Bayonetta, Metroid Dread, Oxygen Not Included, Monster Hunter, Spiritfarer, My lovely series (daughter, wife, empress), Nier Automata and many more.
None of them are free, none of them are garbage, none of them are live service.
I've spent more money buying games than you probably ever will.
And by the way, I spent a grand total of 0 in microtransactions.
Live service games can die in a fire for all I care.

@zapperdoom4812 "EA has been around since the 80s and in part is responsible for revolutionizing how companies go about creating and marketing products."
No, not anymore. The only thing EA revolutionized lately was the implementation of microtransactions and gambling practices on their games.
" If EA was to disappear in this moment, no matter your opinion, everyone loses. "
Wrong again. If EA disapeared it would create a precedent. The precedent that burdening premium games with microtransactions and lootboxes is a detriment to the company that resorts to it.
"Their yearly releases make for good competition with other companies."
There is plenty of competition. The loss of a company that dishes out mediocre games would make no difference.
If anything it would again create a precedent, the precedent that making mediocre games isn't sustainable.
"Sure, they've had a bad business model post-2010, but they will learn from it."
No, not really.
EA only backs off when it receives backlash from the consumers or when the laws in some country doesn't allow them to do what they please.
"You've also gotta realize how many developers currently have the same business model- that is pushing out video games yearly at the cost of the employee's well-being. "
EA being one of them.
You undermine your own argument.
"Look at take-two and paradox interactive for example. Sure, take-two takes more time with rockstar games, but lately is been all the same recycled content. Same with paradox interactive."
Look at indie developers, Capcom, SEGA, CD Project Red and many others.
They don't need EA in the slightest, they release better games than EA has ever been able to in the past decade.
EA is a cancer.
Cancer must be removed.

@altrag So the PS2 era is a long time span compared to more than a decade?
Thanks for your horrible attempt of false equivalence falacy.
I'll make sure to ignore your horrible takes.
I'm not referring to drop of quality of my chosen franchises, I'm talking in general.
Most AAA games are safe and risk free, more concerned in pushing political messaging than providing a good gameplay experience.
I never said anything about the reaction of non devs when faced with games, I am talking about inside decisions.
Nice strawmanning.
You can be sure as hell quality won't come from Microsoft in the next years, they've been trying their hardest on pushing mediocrity and don't seem to be willing to change that.
And by mentioning Minecraft you just prove my point, quality comes mostly from Indies nowadays.
Many big companies were big and kept growing because they had quality. EA was responsible for some of the greatest games ever made. Only to drop off their quality standards. From NFSMW (one of the best racing games ever) to Battlefront, that earned a boycott by many players.
And you say it's the same.
We'd expect garbage to come from Indies, but Indie games that are far better than most AAA games sure were unheard of until recently.
The AAA industry standards of the present doesn't prioritise quality, it prioritises monetisation, any product is a good product as long as it justifies draconian monetisation. Then they spend nore money on advertising than on the game production to push it.
Quality is no longer a selling reason.
Something similar happens with music, advertising before quality.
Somethings change, some do not.
The industry changed tactics, it has a much higher focus on advertising than before.
There's barely any quality coming from western AAA companies nowadays.
You're blind.

@scalesconfrey5739 Just because you set limits to what people can do, that doesn't mean science is a pawn of politics.
Peer review is a thing, yes. An experiment that can't be repeated isn't valid.
But that's done everywhere in the world by scientists from other countries with no affiliation between them.
You don't know what the scientific community is like, do you?
If anyone is even suspected of being a fraud they lose all their credibility.
Their career is over.
They don't even need to be frauds, if a scientist makes a contract with some TV channel to make a science kids show chances are that no one will take them serious anymore.
It's a self regulating system where if someone's caught in a fraudulent move they get canned.
No second chances.
I'm just a layman, we all are, there's no point to question a study, other scientists can do it better.
It's a self regulating system where neither me or you have any saying in it.
Unless, of course, you manage to make some groundbreaking discovery.
In that case, there's a Nobel prize waiting for you.
Until then, you have the same credibility as a discredited scientist.

@Arrakiz666 It feels like you're trying to poison the well here and I'm not OK with it,
I'm not poisoning the well, the well has been poisoned by SJWs, you're just accusing the guy that said "the well water is not good to drink" as the one who made it that way.
We're talking about cancel culture, not about internet hate mobs. If the problem as you astutely pointed out, existed before SJWs, why is this suddenly such a big problem now?
Because:
1. SJWs made it worse.
2. They turned a problem into something socially acceptable.
3. They're not solving any issue
4. They cancel anyone, regardless of race, sexual orientation or political spectrum.
Angry Joe is SJW as SJW can be and was banned (from sjw dominated websites), harassed and accused of rape after he made clear TLOU2 wasn't good.
When SJWs use their wild cards of "fighting racism/sexism/etc" and someone who they claim are "protecting" disagrees with them they get cancelled all the same.
All they do is to push their deranged narrative to absurd levels.
Is this ok to you? youtube (dot) com/watch?v=YmfqRunW4Ro&t=562s
This is the consequences of SJW influence.
Pedophiles, fascists, authoritarians of all stripes existed on the internet forever, what's so different about this new group?
Because before SJWs they weren't socially accepted by the majority, SJWs try to make them socially accepted by pushing their narrative.
As I said before, when a right winger is a pedophile their ilk try to cover up.
They know pedophilia is bad, they know if they're found out the pedophile will have to face justice.
SJWs just want pedophiles be pedophiles without fearing any repercusions.
SJWs ENDORSE pedophilia.
SJWs don't solve problems, they make existing problems worse and create new problems.
They solve nothing.
Why was it never a problem for you when only the most vulnerable people, racial and sexual minorities, were targeted?
It was always a problem, and SJWs never solved any problem, they just made it worse.
Why is it only suddenly a problem when it affects, well... privileged people?
Of course, if it's "white, male, Christian, and conservative" that means they're automatically privileged.
Because race, gender, religion or political affiliation is synonym of privilege... Oh wait, no it isn't, it just means you're a racist, sexist and a xenophobe.
The problem is still there. the difference is that what could once have been seen as a problem is now something you don't see a problem.
And SJWs still have no problem to cancel non white/straight/male/etc.
SJWs just cancel people they don't like.
That's why SJWs are malicious. They do the bad things that have been bad since EVER and use it for their own benefit while at the same time they justify their actions.
SJWs are sexists, racists and all kind of ists they hypocritically cry about while they masquerade it as social activism.
And that's a fact.
I know you probably hate that word, but it's just a word, it can't hurt you and it has a specific meaning.
I don't hate words, I'm not an SJW.
I just have a problem when you use them to make a false statement, which you did.

@BaschBarrage Nor does it revolve around you, or the feelings of a random person.
I don't care if you're fine with it or not, a human right is still a human right.
There's nothing you can say that will justify violate human rights.
Criminals aren't ok with the police force, should we get rid of the police because millions of criminals aren't ok with getting caught? I don't think so.
Andregon might love eatingTúrd, but others dont. And here's the false equivalence falacy.
What you're arguing is not about people doing their thing, and others not doing it, what you're saying is about people doing their own thing and other people not being ok with those people do.
thats the easiest example I can give when it comes to Andregon, it suits very well :)
Congratulations, your entire argument relies on a falacy, rendering it invalid.
Congratulations on showing that your argument has no basis whatsoever. :)
Keep dishing out those falacies, maybe I'll get a Bingo.

@williamalexander9485 Russia doesn't have better logistics.
You saying that Russia has the advantage and is still yet to win after 3 years makes it a bigger failure than what already is.
Loser.
Also, Ukraine doesn't need "another" 500k men when they lost around 100k.
You should have said "an additional 500k men".
Not that it would make it true, just better grammar.
Also, Ukraine had, and still has, the oldest conscription age in Europe, Russia has a lower minimum age, is capable of conscripting way more than Ukraine, and still hasn't won.
A strong power shouldn't struggle to keep up with a weak power.
Only the weak struggle with other weak.
Even if Russia won today, they'd still be the military that took 3 years to win against a country one tenth of its size.
Russia.
Is.
Weak.
100k to 450k is a higher ratio than 1 to 3, that russian bots love to spew.

@OtakuWrath I wouldn't say overreaction on China's part. Trying to sanitize the streets doesn't do much, that's more a PR move.
Spraying the street does nothing.
China did however quarantine an 11 million people city with 500 cases, the US took action when the train was already moving.
China managed to control the pandemic, the US had a catastrophic failure.
You may not have seen many people without a mask, but I sure as hell saw a lot of Americans without it. YouTube dot com /watch?v=EbxwGi8bTO8
The video in question is 4th of July, channel: All gas no brakes.
Do you really think this goes without consequences? Same for Europe, those numbers are the consequences of the holidays.
People think it only happens to others, the others think the same.
The thing is that the virus doesn't care about your words, about your opinion, your skepticism, the virus will eventually infect you. All you can do is hope there will be a free bed in the hospital for when your turn comes.
I'd rather have the pandemic under control rather than dying because the hospitals are full.
But as Thunderf00t said: you can't reason a person out of a position they didn't reason themselves into in the first place.

@jaxsonburch-eo1vz They didn't always delivered, but some of the best games of all time came from them.
Prince of Persia, Need For Speed Underground and Most Wanted, Metal Gear Solid.
Iconic games that are remembered as some of the best games of their generation (or ever made).
Where's that quality now?
Ubisoft releases formulaic chore based garbage. All their games extremely similar to the previous, EA makes micro transaction ridden garbage, both crawling with woke social message (even racist, such is the case of the announced AC, which has caused outrage among Japanese players) and Konami doesn't even need an explanation.
I just have the examples of 3 garbage (not mid) games because those are the ones that I can remember, those games are forgotten and I have a hard time remembering them. But there are way more than just 3.
Most games Microsoft released in the past 10 years have been mediocre to crap, with only a few being decent to good.
But hey, keep giving excuses. I bet you'll love Suicide Squad.
And I played most of the games you mentioned, I'm very aware of the few good games that are released.
The problem is that they're harder to find than in the 90's and yearly to mid 2000's.
There's so much garbage I need to dig through to find them, it's insane.
Last of us 2, that's a good one. 😂
And you can't play OW1 no more. It was replaced by a garbage sequel.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey is crap too.
Metal Gear 5 was made while Hideo Kojima was working in Konami, why not use Metal Gear Survive as a more recent example of a Konami game?
Shadow of Colossus is a PS2 game.
Nintendo hasn't lost its way, and my criticism doesn't include them (not the lack of quality part).
It can be argued that if Nintendo games are good, that's because they retained their quality standards from the past.
Mass Effect 2 was the last good Bioware game they made, Mass Effect 2 was released in 2010.
The more I go through your list, the more flaws I see.

@wh0586 Was there at any given point in History a case where someone made shit up and it ended up becoming real?
Like what caused earthquakes, or how solar eclipses happened, or maybe what caused diseases?
No, there wasn't.
But hey, we got religion instead, and the crusades that came with it, the inquisition, the witch hunts and the campaign against the norse people. Just a few things at the top of my head.
Making shit up is like trying to shoot at a 1mm diameter target, 10 000Km away, blindfolded, with a gun with a reach of 100m. IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

@Arrakiz666 So as I understand, you were always against cancel culture
Wrong again, sunshine.
EVERYONE was against cancel culture, until SJWs just made it socially acceptable.
Since when it was socially accepted to fire someone with for no reason whatsoever?
NEVER!
Only when SJWs came with their deranged narrative some people (the lowest IQ ones) started to accept it.
I'll said it once and I'll say it again: SJWs are hated by most people for a reason.
SJWs are NOT good people.
I can trust that you would advocate for ways to curtail cancel culture,
Curtail? Oh no, I want it to be criminalized.
I want people who partake in cancel culture to be arrested.
Cancel culture is as bad as swatting.
Hey, here's a thing that's equally as bad as cancel culture that wasn't made by SJWs: Swatting.
Both are bad, and both should be crimes.
and not any actions against freedom of expression via the social media, or any direct actions against "the SJWs", yes?
SJWs are 100% against freedom of expression.
Sure, everyone should be free to say what they want, but that's something you need to convince SJWs to accept, not me.
They're the ones who try to ruin the lives and careers of the people that say something they don't like.
But sure, freedom of expression all the way. Just make sure coercing companies into firing people is a crime.
Your freedom and rights are over as soon as someone else's freedom and rights begin.
Infinite freedom is not a thing, not even in anarchy.

@xXREDstoneMANXx but what about the good religion does.
If doing a good thing justified a bad thing then all druglords would fund a charity and not go to jail because of it.
That's not how things work.
And religion sure as hell didn't save my uncle, he could still be alive if he seeked medical help instead of rellying in thoughts and prayers.
I guess religion doesn't save you from prostate cancer.
I don't act as if people are bad because of religion, I'm claiming that religion can be one of the reasons to make people bad.
There's plenty of evidence about it, just look ar Iran and the women they murder for violating their dark ages rules.
If religion didn't exist autocratic regimes would still exist, but not autocratic regimes ruled by clergy, which is exactly what Iran's regime is, and inspiring other muslim countries to do so.
Have you seen the protests in Iran against their oppressive regime? Thousands of people died in the past 3 or 4 years.
Now tell me why I should respect a religion that creates regimes that oppress and kill people, IN THE 21ST CENTURY!!!!!!
WE'RE NOT IN THE MIDDLE AGES, such barbaric behaviour is unnaceptable anywhere in the world regardless of culture, religion or race.
What hope does a dead person have? NONE!
The only hope is for religion to lose relevance, like it did in the west.
2
-
@BaschBarrage I never said religion shouldn't exist since the beginning of human race.
That's a Strawman falacy.
Got the falacy Bingo, by now.
And calling me savage for not abiding to an obsolete set of rules that gets people stoned to death.
Projection much?
No need to throw more falacies, I already got the Bingo.
But if you want to reinforce the invalidity of your narrative by throwing more falacies be my guest.
Religion brings nothing in the modern age, it's so useless that the time you spend with any religion could be put in learning another language and you'd end up with something that was (and is) more useful.
The moral high ground you pretend to be in serves no purpose other than stroke your own ego.
The only view I brought is that you can't make up excuses to violate human rights, and your baseless beliefs sure as hell aren't valid either.
And no matter how many falacies you throw at me, none will validate your narrative.
No atheist taught me anything, I learned things by thinking for myself.
And calling me disrespectful when you threw insults at me a little while ago (in matter of fact, you started to throw insults right from the beginning) just makes you an hypocrite.
You already proved to be one, no need to do ot again.
I could also make the argument that your behaviour is the result of religion, justification of human rights violation is the behaviour of autocratic, dictatorial and tyrannical regimes.
Human rights stand above your religion.
2
-
@xXREDstoneMANXx If their religion was fine why is a regime ruled by their religion so oppressive?
You dislike how people are treated, but you're fine with the root cause of that?
It makes no sense.
Other muslim countries don't like that because they are under regimes not ruled by islam's clergy, and Iran's regime hates those countries because of that.
Islam's regime wants those regimes destroyed and replaced with their own.
I've met many wonderful Muslims
First, that's anecdotal.
Second I never said anything against civilians who practice a religion being bad.
Are drugs bad? Yes. Are the people who take drugs bad? Not necessarily.
Same thing.
If you strawman my arguments, I'll call you out on that.
Tbh, it is just like your only ever seen negative things come from religion, and that has shaped your worldview,
Wars were waged for the sake of religion, people used religion to justify torture and killing, religion is bad and obsolete.
Besides, I'm advocating for human rights.
How many people used Human Rights to justify torture and killing? 0
How many wars were waged for the sake of Human Rights? 0
People would still be wholesome if religion didn't exist.
There would still be fucked up people if religion didn't exist.
I never came close to deny that.
What I said was that if religion didn't exist there would be one less reason for people to be fucked up.
There are bad things that only exist because religions exist, whereas good things can still exist regardless of there being religions or not. That's a fact.

Organic chicken is NOT vegan.
Chicken are only vegan if you have absolute control over what they eat, that means having no food around them other than the food you give them.
Chicken in a grassy field are NOT vegan, chicken will eat anything they can peck, that includes, but not limited to, worms, ants, remains of dead animals, dog/cat food, the leftovers I put in the dog food that contains the chicken that the other chicken raised for months, etc.
Chicken. Eat. Other. Chicken.
And they love it.

I don't have €/hour ratio, I have a € per quality game ratio.
I can buy several quality games for 70€ when they go on sale.
Games that provide as many QUALITY hours (emphasis on quality) for less money, and being more than one game it also provides variety.
Darkest Dungeon, XCOM, Total War, Nier Automata, Metal Gear Rising, and many more.
They're cheap, they're good, they don't require to be played within a time frame (for those games with timed events), and they're some of the best games of their genre.
Why would I want ONE game, that I don't even know if it's good enough to justify its price, when I can have several games that passed the test of time and are now dirt cheap?
And last month I bought a bunch of games in a "Take 3 pay 2" promotion.
Recent games that didn't even drop their price. And that included pre-orderes.
It's not about being broke, it's about efficiency and making the most with the money I have.

3:00 I guess there are 3 types of players, because I don't fit in neither of those two.
Call it the videogame player, the type of player that plays mostly single player and multiplayer with their friends, be it co-op or pvp.
I lived during the golden age of videogames, I want to keep living there, I'm constantly searching for games of that caliber.
They still exist, they're still being made, be it Unicorn Overlord, Danganronpa, Xenoblade Chronicles, Octopath Traveler, or Metroid Dread.
Every once in a while a gem drops, and it's great.
I'm neither a WoW player nor am I a "gamer", I'm a videogame player, just like I was in the 90's.

@ALookIntoTheEulenspiegel He had experience with pod racing, he learned the ship controls when he got out of Tatooine, he crash landed inside the space station AFTER GETTING SHOT, and he accidentally destroyed the main reactor inside of it.
And let's not forget he was getting assistance from R2.
Call it bad writing, although it could be argued that he some force influence behind it, but that doesn't make him a Mary Sue.
Even if that was a Mary Sue moment, single moments don't make Mary Sues, you need a pattern of Mary Sue moments to make a Mary Sue.
You don't know what a Mary Sue is.
Also the pod racing is the worst argument you could come up with.
Anakin HAD EXPERIENCE IN PILOTING PODS, Wattoo made him race in them.
Anakin LITERALLY BUILT THE POD HE RAN IN.
Experience in pod racing in a pod he literally knew from the inside out.
That doesn't seem an unfavorable situation in any way shape or form.
Anakin worked in a parts shop, where he worked on fixing every kind of things, droids included.
It's not a stretch of imagination if he could build at home what he was used to build in the shop.
Your absurd arguments just prove you don't know what a Mary Sue is.
Or that you're desperate to downplay how bad the sequel trilogy is.
The point of the first movie was to show Anakin as the prodigy child with unlimited potential.
Do you know what a prodigy child is? You may not know, but I do. One of my cousins was.

@ALookIntoTheEulenspiegel Anakin didn't run a business, he built stuff.
No, Rey isn't a Mary Sue JUST because she can repair an airship the first time she gets in it, despite its owners not be able to.
She follows a pattern where she can pull every kind of stunts when it's convenient to her, despite having literally 0 experience or knowledge for her to be able to do it.
She repaired a ship, even though nothing points to her knowing how.
She flies a ship, even though nothing points to her knowing how.
She uses mind trick on a soldier, even though nothing points to her knowing how.
She beats a sith despite never handling a light saber.
This is a pattern. A pattern that is still present in the next movies right up to the end.
Rummaging through garbage doesn't give you knowledge on how to repair or build what you're rummaging.
A person that rummages through a bakery trashcan doesn't learn how to bake by rummaging on trash.
MaRey Sue DID NOT work with space ships, at no point in the movie such thing is mentioned.
The only thing the movie established was that she was a scavenger.
Rey is 100% a Mary Sue.
Anakin DID NOT invent a race car.
Anakind DID NOT sell parts, Wattoo did.
Anakin WORKED with machines and repaired them.
Anakin built a race pod based on knowledge he acquired from working on Wattoo's shop.
Anakin also had experience in racing in them. The movie literally tells us that.
Also his pod wasn't perfect, it stalled at the start.
Making stuff up just proves your intellectual dishonesty and nothing more.
Breaking the universe rules makes does make a Mary Sue, which Rey did, several times. Rey is 100% a Mary Sue.
The only one who is biased here is you.
Projection.
Can't say I'm surprised.

@ALookIntoTheEulenspiegel Wrong
And wrong
Anakin did not learn by himself, he was a slave working in a shop.
Wattoo should have taught him how to work.
And 2 he didn't learn how to fly a ship by himself, he literally learns from the Naboo ship pilot.
That is not only shown in the movie, but you've been told by people in this comment section.
You're literally lying, you know you're lying, I know you're lying and yet you're still trying to pass a debunked lie as a fact.
What, do you really think I wouldn't notice it?
Who do you think you're trying to fool?
No, if the roles were swapped I'd be calling Anakin a Mary Sue.
You're the one who would be doing that, you've already shown your projection, and I called it out.
You're now projecting again.
The prequels are better for many reasons, one of which being it not featuring a Mary Sue as the main character.
To be fair not many things are worse than the sequel, the sequel is horrible.
The prequels at least put an effort in being consistent with its own universe.
The sequels broke established rules.
If I was trying to mindlessly trying to put the sequels in over the sequels I would be explaining things that were featured in the movie, I'd be lying about it, just like you did.
Your entire defense for the sequel trilogy is whataboutism.

@ALookIntoTheEulenspiegel "Must be lying"?
Dude, you literally lied.
You claimed Anakin learned to fly ships by himself when there's a scene where he's by the pilot's side talking to him about the ship's controls and the pilot says something like: "You learn fast"
If you don't remember, either fact check or don't talk about what you don't know.
Disinformation is still disinformation, wether you do it on purpose or not.
I couldn't care less if you remember something or not, you come up with false claims and they get debunked, either by me or someone else.
Don't make claims you can't prove and you should be fine.
Explaining someone the controls of a ship for a few minutes isn't enough for a layman, but Anakin had experience in piloting (pod racer), the trip was way more than a few minutes (making a portion of the movie lasting for 10 hours to make for the trip time would be absurd).
And most importantly, Anakin barely did anything in the fighter, he got shot almost instantly as soon as he turned off the autopilot. He didn't outperform other pilots, he didn't make fancy maneuvers, he didn't outperform other pilots.
Anakin turned left, spun and crash landed. Definitely not a Mary Sue moment.

@UnitedStates. PLUS...a used $400 camera PLUS a $220 CMOS sensor PLUS a $125 powerbank PLUS a $180 powerbook PLUS a computer.
Yes, those are the gimmicks i was talking about.
A computer can also be used to run photoshop, internet browsers, video editing, play videogames...
the computer in that shit has only one function. And, because it only serves one purpose, it doesn't need to have the speccs of a midrange computer, so it's as cheap as a computer can get.
A camera that can only be used for one thing, while TF's camera can be used on ALL of his telescopes (same for the computer, the powerbank, powerbook - You get the idea), and also taking pictures, like a normal camera.
Gimmicks are just that. GIMMICKS
Is there ANY kickstarter project busted by TF that didn't end up being a scam?
Yeah, this is a scam as well.
Especially after that false advertising slogan of "100 times better".
I see a lawsuit coming, if you can sue a bankrupt company that won't exist in a few years that is.

Or better yet, seeing as she has no character, introduce a new force faction.
I mean, she has no character to define her as light or dark side, so make her fall on the, I don't know, void maybe?
It's a side that only consumes, like a black hole, and neither the dark or light side want to have anything to do with it.
And so, both Jedi and Siths would set their goal to defeat her, because if they don't there wouldn't be a galaxy to protect (Jedi) or conquer (Sith).
Yeah that last part is a bit cliché, but hey, that's all I managed to think of in a few minutes. I'm pretty sure a competent writer would come up with something better with more time.

@engineeringtheweirdguy2103 you really have no idea what you’re talking about do you?
Oh, so I don't know that discharged batteries will deteriorate in a matter of months if they aren't charged? (guess all battery manuals must be wrong then)
Apparently I also don't know that Lithium batteries have a tendency of exploding and bursting to flames if something goes wrong.
I also don't know that the lithium battery inventor and Nobel prize winner, John B Goodenough, disliked lithium batteries (because they have a tendency to explode and burst into flames) to the point of trying to make a safer alternative with Sodium based batteries. (since I haven't heard of it anymore, I assume it didn't go well)
I also don't know that lithium batteries electrolyte is a gel based substance that can't prevent lithium to create ramifications (like a tree root or branch) and reach the other side of the battery causing a short circuit. (which makes them explode and burst into flames)
I also don't know that proprietary batteries aren't as easily replaced as market standard batteries, especially if they're hardwired.
I also don't know that farmers are forced to hack their own equipment to repair it. Oh wait, I do.
Even medical equipment is getting to the point of not being repairable.
Let me emphasys on this one: Companies are making sure that MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, WHICH IS USED TO SAVE PEOPLE'S LIVES, CAN'T BE REPAIRED, putting people's lives at risk.
Companies are literally (as literal the word "literally" can get) putting people's lives at risk for the sake of profit. LITERALLY
While the EU is cracking down on repairability (although very slowly and inefficiently), the US is going the complete opposite way. With lobbyists working as hard as they can to prevent the Right to Repair bill to pass.
Guess I don't know any of this. And apparently, neither do you.
Have a quick google at the required servicing to keep a model 3 in warrantee over the 8 year timeframe. It’s zero. A blank list.
On paper, yes. In the real world the electronics are more prone to malfunction than mechanical devices.
And that's due a simple well known engineering factor: The more complicated something is the more points of failure it has.

@Toodyslexicforyou while economics deal with facts and data, what you're doing is using an argument from authority, whoch is a falacy.
Second, if you have 100€/£/$ end up with 200 and can't buy more with those 200 than you would with the 100, you effectively did nothing.
The numbers went up, but so what?
People don't eat money, people don't wear money, people don't take money pills to cure illnesses.
Money is a means to an end, but you seem to be treating it as the end goal.
Let's make an example: If in the 80's people bought some good, let's say gasoline, for 100 grams of gold, and now in the 2020's we buy the same amount of that same good with the same amount of gold, while we require more money to get that same amount, that means the money is worth less.
You can hoard all the money in the world, if the money becomes worthless, all your hoarding was useless.
Money is paper, it has no value in itself, inflating numbers does nothing, making money out of money will make money worth less.
If you turn 100€$£ into 200 without producing anything, you effectively have 200€$£ that's worth 100.
So go ahead, make millions out of thousands, those millions will still be worth the same as those thousands you started with.
I'm not an economist and I know that, what kind of economist are you?
People are poorer now with the same money they had decades ago.
What good does data serve if you end up failing the people you're supposed to serve?
Productivity>growth

Easy games don't give me memories like hard games.
I still remember in Burnout 3 Takedown where there was a challenge where I had to drive a Formula 1 car through a huge lap without crashing and 100% boost (if you let go of boost once say bye-bye to the gold medal).
It was brutal, I tried and tried and then tried some more.
Then the Xbox 360 came out and I stopped playing it.
A few years later I started the game from scratch on my Xbox 360, and then there it was, the track that broke me.
I had to do it, I had to prove to myself I had what it takes to beat it.
And just like before that challenge demolished me. I tried and tried and then I tried some more.
Until one day like every other day I went to try again, I failed a few more times, but I was improving, so progress never came to an alt, but after a few more crashes and restarts I managed to get past the furthest point where I crashed, and I kept going, I was focused, I was in the zone.
I managed to dodge incoming traffic, and then... Finished.
I jumped so high out of my couch and screamed a victory yell that startled the dogs upstairs and whipped up a storm so great my mother had to open the door to let them vent out.
I'll never forget that moment.

@BaschBarrage Yes you should be allowed to say it.
And you can say it in front of a lot of people. They don't give a fuck.
Companies have TOS, and if the TOS states that saying something like "Macaroni", you can still say it, but then your account gets banned.
Companies want to avoid controversy and appease to advertisers, so they make their arbitrary rules.
If you want to use their platforms you have to abide by those rules.
But rules aren't laws, none of which you can force people to make, as long as you don't own any kind of entity capable of enforcing your own arbitrary rules.
You're not an advertiser, you don't make laws, you're just a random person on the internet with a random opinion worth as much as the buzzing of a fly.
But you can still say anything, a government that prosecutes you for what you say is in violation of freedom of expression.
As simple as that.
That is not based on "based on the delulu views" (not a valid argument anyway), it's based on the very real human right all humans have.
And thanks for you Ad Hominem falacy about my age.
There's nothing better than relying on falacies to undermine your entire narrative.
I'm 40 by the way.
1
-
@ZOverOne Then do it.
Make fun of whatever you want.
What am I going to do? Get sad? Get angry?
What's the point of getting emotional for the words of a random comment on the internet?
My point is that anyone can express themselves however they damn please.
You want draw a turd and claim they're my ancestors, you can do it.
You want to make a song about putting two pregnant women in an arena and telling them no one is allowed to leave alive until one eats the other one's fetus, you can do it.
You want to make a movie about torture, you can do it.
Provided you don't physically/financially/etc hurt anyone, warn people of the content you're releasing (which is in Twitch TOS) and abide by age rating rules, you can express however you'd like.
But hurting someone's feelings?
I'll quote Thomas Jefferson as a response to that: Ridicule is the best response to an unintelligent proposition.
If you think your feelings, or someone else's feelings, are a reason to tell people what they can or can't do, I'll ridicule or ignore you, but you can be sure as all hell, I won't take you seriously (at least until you commit a crime like doxxing)

@BaschBarrage The feeling of billions of people is still worthless.
0 multiplied by a billion is still 0
I'm not part of their culture, I have no obligation to abide by their rules.
Besides, their arbitrary rules are based on a fantasy that they treat it as real.
I don't ask for people take my fantasies seriously, so I'm not going to take other people's fantasies seriously either.
I'm not making excuses to offend others. If you want to be offended, be offended. I don't care. This is not an excuse, IT'S A FACT. I literally don't care if you get offended or not.
Besides, they get offended simply because someone tells them to be offended, someone that represents a, ideology based on a fantasy.
I just need to read the first sentence to know theTurd takes from Andregon are worthless :)
So are your feelings. And your opinion based on nothing other that your feelings.
But hey, thank you for admitting your Intellectual dishonesty, it says a lot about you.
And by the way, I'm not arguing with you to make you change your ideas, I'm exposing your unintelligent narrative for everyone who will read the comments.
Since you have no valid points, rely on insults, falacies and dishonest tactics, and I'm exposing them, I'd say I'm doing a good job.
there will be people who would doVīŏlèncè in the name of Jesus/Buddha/Cow/Devas/etc... then dont play victim after doing so
If you are target of violence you're not playing victim, YOU ARE A VICTIM
I'm suspecting you don't know how things work.
No drawings or words justify violence.
But violence justifies jail time.
P.S. Ironic that you started replying to me questioning my age (Quote: "like I said, andre sound like under20, go do theSchool homework, then its bed time :)") and using it for your Ad Hominem, and now you're the one throwing childish comments (quote: "I just need to read the first sentence to know theTurd takes from Andregon are worthless :)" and Quote: "Andregon might love eatingTúrd, but others dont.").
It really makes your childishness stand out.
I guess you're an hypocrite after all.

@BaschBarrage You never gave any answer.
All you did was throw falacies at me.
Just because you typed some words that doesn't mean they're valid.
Falacies are called falacies for a reason.
And I called you out on those falacies.
I don't know if you realized, but you lost any credibility as soon as you started to use falacies as an argument. Which was right at the beginning.
Any narrative that requires falacies to work, is a worthless false narrative. No exceptions.
And yet the existence of such rules didn't prevent wars, torture, oppression, genocide, etc.
If anything, many of those terrible events wouldn't even happen if religion didn't exist.
Rules may be important, I'm not denying that, but you don't need a religion to make them.
The Human Rights are a set of rules that are simply superior to anything any religion ever came up with. That's reality.
look at muricans, how easy it is to just give an excuse of a person havingMèntáIiIInèss and the person get less consequences for what they have done..
It's not just americans, mental illnesses is a serious and real issue that requires treatment, and every developed country recognizes that.
A mentally ill person isn't necessarily responsible of their actions, no one should be responsible for something that's out of their control.
It's no one's fault that someone is born with a birth defect.
Mental illness is not an excuse.
and whats the result of that, the result is more crīmīnál acts in muricans..
Americans have laws that punish people who break them.
If that doesn't stop criminals from breaking them, a set of arbitrary rules you make up won't stop them either.
The difference being that your set of rules can be interpreted in a way that justifies comitting terrible deeds, unlike laws properly made.
why, because they know how to ease the outcome, by the excuse ofMèntáIiIInèss if caught..
Again, not true.
Mental illness, being a medical condition can be proved.
If you're not mentally ill, you can't use mental illness as an excuse to get away with it, meanwhile many people got away with killing and torturing by using religion as an excuse.
is this what Andregon called humanrights?
No it isn't.
More falacies, that's very disingenuous of you to keep rely on falacies after I called you out on so many of them, and you never contested that.
Human rights are written and available for everyone to see, you can search them up.
No one in the Human Rights state that people can commit crimes and using any form of excuse to do them.
Religion became instantly obsolete as soon as the human rights were created.
Religion was unable to stop wars, genocides, torture, killing, etc.
And in some cases it even justified that. In those cases those events only happened BECAUSE RELIGION EXISTED This is a fact.
Human Rights can't be used to justify wars, genocides, torture or anything of the sort.
Religion is no longer useful.
Religion has become a problem since the moment people started to kill for the sake of religion. That's the moment religion became bad, that's the moment religion should cease to exist.
that is why I asked to imagine a world where there's no rèIīgīŏn, yes nèandèrthaI sávágès :)
The only savage here is the one that defends a practice that, to this day, is used as an excuse to perform the most abhorrent actions.
A world with no religion would be a slightly better world to live in, since there would be one less reason to be a horrible person. Aside from that, it would still be pretty much the same thing. :)

It IS woke stuff, it IS DEI on top of bad writing, forcing more bad writing.
If the food is poisoned and rotten, you can try to fix the rot, it will still kill you because it's still poisoned.
I know very well that before woke and DEI there were bad games (Superman 64, Plumbers don't wear ties), and there's still unwoke bad games (Gollum), but when woke and DEI is involved it has its own signature, it's a specific kind of bad.
Making a good game is hard, REALLY hard, but making a good woke game is pretty much impossible.

@Enigmalake I'm 41, I've also seen my fair share of change.
But I've never said anything about great games not coming out nowadays.
All I'm saying is that the things that have been improving in the industry don't make the bad things disappear.
You're just strawmanning at this point.
I couldn't care less about mainstream crap, I just played Darkest Dungeon a few minutes ago.
I play a lot of indies, and I'm aware of how good they are.
But I also know that the talent and passion we find in the indies would greatly benefit from AAA budgets, like it did back in the 128 bit era.
The 128 bit era didn't just get quality, it got variety, something we only got after Indies gained traction.
I see the quality of a generation in the variety of their products, not the refinement of something that already existed for years.
Those games weren't perfect, but they created genres.
Nowadays AAAs are too safe.
Shenmue, for example, is a game that wasn't safe, but from it a new genre was created.
Was it perfect? No. But it was way more memorable than getting another generic open world chore ridden game (like Assassin's Creed).

@tomebasic2843 Kinda but not really.
For the untrained eye he might come as Mary Sueish.
If you look carefully you'll notice that Anakin did race before, the problem being that not only he lost every time, but he also crashed all those times.
Mary Sues don't fail.
Another thing was the fighter scene, he was taught the controls of a ship when he left his planet. The ship pilot even stated Anakin was a fast learner.
If he was a Mary Sue, he'd be able to fly the fighter without instructions, kill more enemy fighers than, well zero, and wouldn't be shot.
Anakin didn't do much in the fighter. All he did was a turn, a spin, got shot and crashed on the battleship hangar.
And those were his accomplishments: won a pod race and fired the torpedoes accidentally.
He was a prodigy child, those exist, my cousin was one of them. Anakin was also a child, children don't make many enemies, but he did have one: Sebulba. Aside from that finding someone to hate a child would be dumb.
Who would hate a child?
Is kid Anakin a Mary Sue? Not really.
But I can see where it comes from.

@skeetsmcgrew3282 I could name 5 videogame franchises.
Look at Pokémon, it's the most profitable franchise of all time.
It spanned multiple games, series, movies, card games, and who knows what else.
It's still strong AF, even though the last game (Sword and Shield) was terrible.
What kills franchises is companies and executives poor decision making, script writer, director, actor lack of talent, among multiple other factors.
When they become big, they get sold to people whose only interest is money. And they proceed to milk those franchises dry.
Of course that now that third rate politics seem to be trying to invade everything that's another thing to ruin it.
Trying to suck a franchise dry of everything it has while pandering to deranged activists (also known as cultists) is not a good combination. And that kills franchises even faster.
Some franchises are meant to end, that I totally agree, some others however do not.
LOTR had a solid ending, Terminator kept itself open to new iterations.
It was the bad quality of the end product that killed those franchises.

@HaveYouTriedGuillotines YOU were the one who started this "no u" game.
Oh really?
Let's see now shall we?
I said: I find ironic you say your country drifted too far to the right when most things you said are perpetrated by the left and left pandering companies.
As a reply to your original comment.
Let's check that shall we?
You said and I quote: Louis doesn't seem to understand that we live in the age of market fascism, post modern ideology, and violent activism.
What "violent activism" has been happening in the last few months?
BLM, which is:
A- Left as fuck
B- Violent as fuck
What violent right activism has been happening recently?
This is not a rethoric, I'm really not aware of any.
Also you mentioned "market fascism".
An expression as vague as vague can be, it means nothing, especially when companies are pandering so much to the left some of them, like Twitter, Reddit, Twitch, YouTube, etc, are taking action, by demonitizing and outright banning, videos, topics, people, groups, etc that are right leaning.
Also what's the most fascist movement out there at the moment? Antifa, which is left.
And "post modern ideology" you say?
What kind of ideology is woke culture if not modern?
There has never been woke ideology up until the 21st century, and, to counter your "market fascism" verbiage even more, companies are getting more woke than never (and going bankrupt because of that).
Have you seen Disney, Holywood and NBA pandering to China, which is left, and shafting employees that talk against the Chinese system? I sure as hell did.
I also witnessed Marvel coming with a new comic, woke as fuck, just to be shutdown in a month.
These are simple facts, simple apolitical facts, facts don't lean either left or right. Facts are just facts, part of the reality we all live in, and a part of a reality that I don't deny, unlike you.
I CORRECTLY called you out on your flaws,
What flaws? All you did was making wild accusations without ever even attempting to defend anything you said.
You didn't even put a shred of effort proving anything you said.
If you "correctly" called me on my flaws I'd like to see you prove it.
If you know you're correct, you also have the evidence for it. I'd like to see that.
Case in point: I will reply to whatever I want, you projecting, right wing demagogue
You still call me right winger even though I'm not.
Calling right wing to anyone who disagrees with you is a dumb tactic for people unable to defend themselves or their narrative/argument.
all you've done is then project them onto other people. INCLUDING your rampant and constant projection
And more "no, u" narrative.
You're dumb as a brick.
After calling you out on it you just doubledown on it.
What are you trying to accomplish? prove my point even more?
YOU engage in double speak, YOU project, and YOU are the one making meaningless noise. YOU are the problem here. YOU need to correct yourself.
https://dictionary.cambridge.org/pt/dicionario/ingles/irony
I know why you're acting like that.
You're accusing the right wing of everything bad that's happening because your precious and flawless system is failing, and the more you double down on it the harder it fails.
Since you're unable to realise your own failure you go on a sperg rant as to how is "the other one's fault" as you refuse to accept reality as it is.
You also refuse to give any arguments because you probably already lost so many discussions on the internet, and your points have been debunked to hell and back, that your only defense left is making accusations on anyone who questions what little you have left (a copy paste from some guy on the internet) in a futile attempt to discredit them.
Seriously, having a discussion with you is as fruitless as having a discussion with a flat earther.
Both have no facts, both resort to childish tactics, both try to discredit the person that disagrees with them with ridiculous accusations, both defend their cults as the fanatics you are.
TL;DR
Common sense, reality and/or facts are NOT political. Nor do they lean left or right.
I don't care if you're left or right, if you're wrong I'll call you out on it regardless.
I don't care if your ilk calls me a right winger and the right wingers call me left winger.
All I care for are facts, something you were unable to present.
All you managed to prove was your inability to have a civilized conversation.

@sonquan5492 You call it common knowledge because you take those opinions as if they were facts.
They say my comments are opinions in a way to dismiss them (saying "that's your opinion" is a way to dismiss someone else's argument without providing a rebuttal, that's not worth of being called a conversation ), and I throw that argument right back at them, it goes both ways, and you not liking it changes nothing.
If you don't like it when your own words are thrown back at you, it would be hypocritical to use them.
I never projected my experiences on others, nor did I ever try to act tough, you can save your Ad Hominem to someone who cares.
But if you think I'm though for going through what I did, those are your words, not mine. Since I never claimed to be though.
I'm an adult, I'll decide what I keep on doing or not. I don't need someone else to tell me.
As long as you try to pass a situation like this as something more serious than what it actually is, I'll keep os contesting that notion.
Claiming that this moment is a situation that will affect the person featured on this video classifies as opinion. It's neither common knowledge, or fact.
It's just a claim.

@Bro-dot- Add seeing less qualified people getting promoted because they're in cahoots with the boss, or the disparity of salaries (the minimum wage here is way lower than the EU average), or having the director's ass kissers getting all the benefits.
Having to do the job of the absent staff or the staff that the direction should hire, because they're understaffed and the directors are more interested in stealing from the company than to hire more people.
Or what about more personal examples? A kid that grows having everything they could ask for and not being able to manage their money, because they were never taught that.
Having their partner leaving without a trace after the electricity gets cut off only to realize that they never paid the electricity bills and they were hoarding or spending the money elsewhere, and leaving you with a huge debt to pay because you trusted them and the debt is in your name and they get away with it scot free.
Or getting diagnosed with some messed up illness.
There are so many things that can go wrong, I'd spend all day talking about them. And I admit to have a very limited knowledge, because I don't like gossiping and usually stay away from other people's lives.
But some of these examples happened pretty close to where I live, as in a couple houses from mine, with one of my father's tenants, or several.
Life isn't an utopia, but parents can make kids live in one. And changing a lifestyle like that to one where you have to fend for yourself is a big shock to many.
