@jonlenihan4798 even if you had foreign currency and bought stuff not at inflated prices, getting the stuff to Lebanon and not have it stolen is a challenge.

@jonlenihan4798 Lebanese banks are just sophisticated Hawalas. They'll transfer/loan/launder anything you want if you pay them. But Lebanese banks started running out of money a couple years ago during general riots.
