  2. The kefalas system of migrant workers is a literal slavery scam. They simply promise high wages to foreigners, make them borrow money to get to the gulf, take their passports, then refuse to pay them and beat/jail/misuse them as they please. Most countries with kefalas actively censor any mention of them.

  3. You're right but not for the reason you think. Most medical degrees are fraudulent in that part of the world despite the government seal of approval. Many oligarchs do send their kids to school in the west, but note those real doctors are one and the same with the ruling clans and are thus largely immune from prosecution.
