  11.  @odaialzrigat  shipping stuff all over the world already is a major cost simply because all the material is all over the world as are the buyers. Copper, gold, silicon, gallium, plastic, and a whole lot else. However, since a new iPhone is worth its weight in silver, this is a minor problem. R&D costs are debilitating, though.
