  2. I'm sorry, but this is just a symptom of a systemic issue. All of India is involved with scams, but the cons that happen to be affiliated with the ruling elites get away with more.

  3. In this case it largely did disappear. Stock valuations are just the price the last share traded at times the number of shares in existence. Ergo, since all but a handful of shares were held by insiders, when a couple people dumped their shares the price fell massively, wiping out 100x the amount of paper "wealth" than actual money traded hands.
