  4. There are entire wars over the avacado fields in Mexico. It can be sold at fat profit margins and since Americans are much richer than the Mexicans in Michaocan the avocado trade was more profitable than the drug trade (until the gangs running the joint were blacklisted in the US). The Hispanics will fight over anything that is worth money
