Yes, the way the system works most execs purchase their positions while employees don't have the fortunes needed for the equipment they use

They should totally do that for their promo videos......

@mgancarzjr we wear things we don't mind getting metal dust and coolant on. There is a blacksmith vibe rather than the scientist
5
A moment of silence for the millions of drills we sacrificed milling that stuff......
2
This is technically a startup. They fooled you otherwise because they actually know what they're doing
2
Obligatory flaimbait retort
2
A big export is "industrial equipment." There are far profit margins in building the machines that build machines
2
How is this better than existing CNC milling machines? That's the par in order for this to become widespread.
2
I imagine this only works on ductile materials. Certainly alloys will be impossible.
1
You totally look like your Dad, too.
1
Vhut? It's literally a cement pad. You angry because it has a gravel foundation probably?
1
@richardellis69 So what? In common usage the terms are interchangeable
1
@richardellis69 No one cares. Least of all you.
1
This isn't new technology. Although before cheap electric pumps people used ditches.
1
Because it would bend in places you don't want. It would sag in, like a trampoline with a person on it
1
That's literally not how geology works. And if what you say was true, no one would install these things because there would be no profit.
1
In deserts where wells are few and far between you often need a permit to install these. This ain't a desert.
1
Lagrangian Point. It makes sense to say it like that, but that's not how it was named...
1
*any civilization.
1
No one cares what you don't get, pendejo
1
It's not running all the time, but the size of that motor says it consumes a lot when in use.
1
That line was written by a Hollywood goon early in the days of automation.

Kansas farmers use them so they can grow corn which needs a lot of water (corn is better profits than wheat/soy). They're more common now because a lot of corn is needed to make ethanol for gasoline.
1
More like pottery
1
@AndroidA258 except additive manufacturing is a completely different method
1
In parts manufacturing, the fattest profit margins are in semi-custom builds (airplane/rocket parts, industrial tools, heavy equipment/engines). What these guys are really competing with are CNC milling which takes a bricks of metal and cuts away most material to leave the desired part.
1
Vhut? There's nothing gambling about installing pipes to ensure water.
1
There's also a pair of bullets that met together in Gallipoli. They didn't collide in mid air
1
I wonder if the ball could shatter bullet proof glass.
1
Ironic given the Mexican installing them...
1
For a piece of industrial equipment, yes. For a pipe, no.
1
It's common to see random flags in America. It's a leftover from the 1960s when some hooligans burned flags, so everyone else placed them around town.
1
Depends what hey build.
1
Including installation, as much as a bread new car... EACH. But it will allow you to get more food per acre for decades. Here in Kansas, farmers use them so they can grow corn instead of wheat/soy.
1
Does this look like a desert to you?
1
@particle_wave7614 the CEO is the largest shareholder, normally. It is legal and normal for men to buy a controlling interest in the company and appoint themselves CEO
1
@HarryMollyNut I'll wager you can spot a politician from his dress and tone.
1
@kylewhite5695 I imagine more exotic shapes are possible with milling
1
It would take that long just to build a marketable machine and just as long to find buyers. Most manufacturers don't replace things until they're not worth fixing and these machines last ages
1
One and two depends how much rainfall you got versus how much the plants need. Five is a matter of whether or not you can buy and install your own power.
