Yes, the way the system works most execs purchase their positions while employees don't have the fortunes needed for the equipment they use

They should totally do that for their promo videos......

@mgancarzjr we wear things we don't mind getting metal dust and coolant on. There is a blacksmith vibe rather than the scientist

A moment of silence for the millions of drills we sacrificed milling that stuff......

This is technically a startup. They fooled you otherwise because they actually know what they're doing

Obligatory flaimbait retort

A big export is "industrial equipment." There are far profit margins in building the machines that build machines

How is this better than existing CNC milling machines? That's the par in order for this to become widespread.

I imagine this only works on ductile materials. Certainly alloys will be impossible.

Because it would bend in places you don't want. It would sag in, like a trampoline with a person on it

@HarryMollyNut I'll wager you can spot a politician from his dress and tone.

@kylewhite5695 I imagine more exotic shapes are possible with milling

It would take that long just to build a marketable machine and just as long to find buyers. Most manufacturers don't replace things until they're not worth fixing and these machines last ages
