  1. People pushing these buyback taxes don't know what their talking about. Most publicly traded companies give long time associates bonuses in the form of shares, and for management this may even be the bulk of their pay. Buying shares from the open market and giving to employees is, in fact, the exact thing these idiots want to incentivize.

  17. Their offices do have armed guards, and they do have SWAT teams of policemen to go after tax evader. The reason is sone people are so greedy they'd rather terror attack IRS offices rather than pay their share for public services. One guy even flew a cessna plane into an IRS office... in the middle of a crowded skyscraper.

  45. You wildly overestimate how many companies get out of Federal taxes. The only way to legally do so is to try blitzscaling, which is more likely to crash the company than bring it to the top.
