Why would an American business get an office in a big city? Land is super expensive there, while land is real cheap everywhere else. We have cars, email, and skype. Why would we pay expensive big city rent when small cities and large towns have all we need? This is actually while you see a lot of difused cities in America. Cities usually have a 50 mile radius full of large towns. Where I am from, the big airplane factories are in the city, while the airplane parts makers are scattered all across the state.
