@CSHarvey EVs are stupid cheap used, that's part of the reason people are complaining. The problem is almost all of these are being sold as prestige items to show off how hip you are while some of us just needed a thing to drive to work.

No one would buy them. We already have reviews from Russians saying they'd buy American over Chinese if they were available.

@blackbelt2000 Sellers of cost effective consumer gas cars are doing good

Lying isn't necessary in this instance.

@Nainara32 There are two types of bad business models. The first is seeking fattest profit margins regardless if it amps risks up to infinity, the other is to reduce profit margins and gain market share even if it makes bankruptcy inevitable

Terrible mileage? Hybrids are more complicated to build and maintain but they get better fuel mileage

@username7763 it is a cost effective vehicle because of the simple chasis, though

@nealkonneker6084 That's what they all say before bankruptcy

@EnriqueAThieleSolivan this id10t thinks poor people buy new cars, not used. Also, federal interest rates are a major factor because a lot of people borrowed a lot at near zero interest and now cannot/willnot borrow more at medium interest. I paid cash for a used z125.

@tarawibowo the EVs are a ponzi scheme
1
@MaticTheProto making moving parts last a million miles is a near impossible challenge
1
@madamkirk higher interest rates means less borrowing

@enriqueouro9 He doesn't care

Cyber-truck is for redneck hipsters living in places that heavily subsidize green energy
1
@macrofocus1988 That only sounds like a popular truck. But really that's an obscure submodel of a near-obsolete but long running model.

This id10t thinks only the rich owned cars during the roaring 20s.
1
@HermanWillems You'll be bankrupt later

@UtterlyMuseless because jets hadn't been invented

The people you pity are the people who were just trying to make cars but here comes Ponzi schemers stealing market share and threatening you for not buying in fast enough.....
