  3. It's all just symptoms of low interest rates. Everyone can easily max out leverage with equity funding and there's always more rich chumps to fund your lifestyle while maybe having a business take off.

  8. No one reads them for that. It's read by idiots who sexualize wealth. Notice how they absolutely have to beautify all the girls in their magazine? Their clothes are nice, they always have a smile, and they never EVER break eye contact with the camera.

  9. Just for fun once I investigated three random people on that list and two were obvious frauds. One was clearly lying about his profitability to VC chumps, posting three figure gains while his whole industry was a bloodbath. Another had no qualifications whatsoever in the industry she supposedly had a miracle invention for. I actually had to get on the phone with Andreesson Horowitz and tell them what I found.
