That's the reality of most of these wild executive "sallaries." Most of the time, they aren't just share based pay, those shares are locked up.

Well, they own a bunch of factories, many with custom patented equipment. They own some battery patents. But the share price would have to fall so much that current investors lose almost anything before there's a value investing case to be made

@Mmmmilo I live in a farm town started seeing them on the road where I work AFTER the fall of sales. I think most of them were bought used at deep discounts. The statistic I heard was that EVs were bought by the same people who bought Apple products and moved to super expensive cities. I.E. people who spend money stupidly. The crazy part is that Teslas are mostly driven now because they are cheap rather than sitting in garages because they are "the future."

@Karatop420 not always. The only Musk fan I met in person was an old man mechanic who liked the science, not the politics, and he'd never consider any EV. Many of the people who own EVs probably just bought them used at steep discounts because they needed a car
