  2. According to the Supreme Court, it isn't. It's important to remember that the politician doesn't own the campaign funds and it is a felony to use them for anything but campaigns (usually any excess is given to charity). Some politicians do go to prison for embezzling campaign funds, though. But most of those guys are stealing from donors rather than taking a bribe.

  4.  @edc4052  True, but also political retards are fixating on his campaign donations, many major investment funds lost money in this (including my state government's pension fund), and this was big enough that Gary Ginsler himself expressed an opinion that all cryptos are frauds and said something to the effect of "We are coming for you!"
