Note Mr. Gill did not originally buy for the short squeeze, he bought because the stock was trading below the value or assets if they liquidated. That doesn't absolve him from anything he might have said later.

@ThePlainBagel In the US they're required to disclose their positions and like four have been fined for not doing the paperwork right and contrary to popular belief, many of them are losing money. The reason there's so much propaganda around it is Paul Pelocy (not Nancy Pelocy) made money buying LEAPs on tech stocks during a time of near zero interest rates. We could confirm that Nancy had no insider info at the time they were bought and sold but no one cares.
