  1. Vanguard and Blackrock we know what's up. Vanguard is Jack Bogle's company and he hates what he sees as predatory fees. Blackrock is run by Larry Fink and he thinks his investors can change company behavior to the better.

  3. If you had Googled that you would have found the answer is no. Ratings agencies own all the indices. To be fair, their are allegations some companies paid money to get on certain indices.

  6. That isn't what happened at all. The short version is the management team said "sure thing" to whatever the customer asked unaware that they had given the engineering teams on the other end of the country an impossible task.

  9. @fl3669  so has defamation. The rule of conspiracies is the odds they will happen go down exponentially relative to the number of unaffiliated parties involved. For instance, if I say that al-Jazeera ran a smear campaign in a silly attempt to divert attention from slavery scandals in the Qatari world cup, the odds of that conspiracy forming is actually pretty high. The soccar league and al-Jazeera are both Qatari state run enterprises and their CEOs are brothers. However, if someone were to say all of the world leaders are part of a conspiracy... That is action impossible because most of these guys have never met and most of them have conflicting interests and many have kill orders out on each other.
