  3. Bank leverage isn't the same as borrowing to invest. I think it's the difference between cash/liquid assets on hand versus customer deposits.

  4.  @blibdoolpoolp  Google works wonders with this... Industry averages is 5-10% of deposits is retained as cash equivalents, but it varies considerably based on country and type of financial services provided.

  6.  @rafanadir6958  AUM = Assets Under Management = The Money they manage for clients. Market cap = company's net worth. No, Blackrock does NOT own over 7 trillion dollars worth of assets, their clients do. Blackrock itself is worth roughly a hundred billion dollars.
