A lot of fish in the sea, and it takes a lot of work to piece the facts together. I'm pretty sure I'm the only man in the world that is aware of a certain drug cartel I won't name.

Give those guys a job at the FBI.

They make money by making the markets more efficient.

Or it means the company has fallen in value for some reason. My mortgage is through a company with an 11% dividend and the reason is they routinely get sued for the garbage they've put homebuyers through. Ergo, they still pay the dividend, but the stock remains dirt cheap.

I never heard of them before this, but a google search shows that for a 6 billion dollar company they sure pay a lot in fines and lawsuits.

@JordanScottMills Carl is impotent. Hindenberg gets sued all the time and simply doesn't care.
4
I use to work for CVR Energy. The security department I worked for was junk, but those jerks worked there long before Icaln bought it. It was just a busy refinery in a non-descript town.
3
They haven't done any short and distort schemes that we know of.
3
Like your investments?

He's losing money
2
Politics isn't relevant, and you're asking to get scalped if you say otherwise.
2
Icaln is a corporate raider, not a vigilante.
2
That's silly. If average joes were able to point out target for fraud investigations, then a hundred researchers will already be on it without the need for shorters.
2
@somethinglikethat2176 They get sued regardless, but they don't care. This is why cops have qualified immunity
2
@siddharthbirdi Ha, that goon has a useless philosophy degree.
2
I never liked corporate raiders...
2
Vhut? No affiliation needed
2
Vigilantes, dingbat. They're paid vigilantes.

There is none

Ponzi schemes aren't illegal

@mikedok1 liar
1
Part of the allegation is that they're creating paper gains out of thin air.
1
What?
1
@desmasic No, a lot of Indians don't care what Adani did, they simply see a white guy accusing an Indian guy. Also, Adani is affiliated with India's current President Modi, so Modi supporters defend him. The reason for this is fraud is systemic in India and it's simply presumed all success is derived from scams.
1
Pirates don't discriminate who they steal from
1
Adani was talking out his butt so bad he called Hindenberg the "Madoff of Manhattan." Madoff was from Manhattan
1
No, that was Ivan Boesky
1
Price fell, not number of shares owned.
1
How much did you lose?
1
@Siddharth Birdi Said the guy from the land where near all degrees are fake. Icahn is from a civilized country where that's near impossible.
1
@lauratio1203 US politics has no bearing on reality, but India forcing Dalit girls into prostitution does.
1
It's got a long way to go before it's priced fairly even if it is a legit company
1
@mullerstephan Not when they get arrested for fraud
1
@mullerstephan We know

I once started systematically going through Andrew Left's shorts but never finished. Over 90% of the companies either paid fines or went defunct. That doesn't mean they made money, but it's easy to find crooks if you're willing to look.
1
Coffeyville?
1
Don't you have a Dalit girl to screw?

What?
