  1. Quit citing Chinese manufacturing stats. Local governments fabricate those in order to get state resources and promotions. Also, a lot of get rich quick schemes involve building things with no intention to sell, including one busted recently where government subsidies for EV exceeded the cost of an EV, so car makers built EVs and immediately sold them to scrap yards to rip off the government.
