  29. Bonds and commercial paper aren't the same. Paper can usually be redeemed at any time and have low interest rates and littleif any collateral, bonds have years to maturity and the corporation itself backs it.

  32. Those things are not related to each other. And commercial paper refers to IOUs issued by blue chip corporations that is sometimes treated like cash. And the US government does have the largest stash of gold and silver in human history, but mostly currency regulation is done by sallaried managers buying/selling bonds digitally.

  35. The creator never intended them as an investment vehicle. But yeah, every investor with them can be divided into the hedgers (reducing exposure to conventional markets), the bookies (miners and exchange runners), the speculators (greater fool theory), and the pumpers (fraud).
