  5.  @Necromancer_88  Sometimes you don't need a high velocity round. Sometimes you just need a lot of explosives going down range.

  6.  @Necromancer_88  Yes, but a mortar with the same price tag as a howitzer can send much bigger explosive shells down range much faster.
