  1. That's literally where this comes from. Tofu Dreg Construction. It's this same process, only the end result is counterfeit buildings with concrete diluted with glass bottles, bridges that tip over because they were placed on supports not bolted down, inch thick steel that can be broken by hand, concrete diluted with ash, "completed" homes with no utilities installed, and so on and so forth. It get hilarious until you realize that where people actually live.

  2. @xenn4985  it's not even true in Cali. I know there's a lot of small Mexican building contractors around, but they're usually competent because they make up for the lack of equipment with long hours and many years service

  4. It shouldn't surprise you that hired hitmen often are scammers. One case I heard in Mexico where a man hired some hardened criminals to kill his ex-wife, but these gangsters simply took his money then warned the ex of the plot.
