  3.  @godzillamothra5983  when did I say anything about myself? The point was the rules and expectations are completely different in modern China than anywhere else in the world or history. Not even China a century ago has much in common with Communist China.

Fact of the matter is often the excuse Chinese investors give for their excessive risk is that Beijing will bail them out, especially when you're talking large and/or state owned ventures. This belief is reinforced by Beijing maintaining the illusion they control the economy. As for the average foreign chump, they really can't be expected to know better. Besides, in the US the Fed always says don't expect bailouts but often does so anyway.
