This is a good overview of the system, but just note the technical details on the electronics is worth a 60 minute video as it coordinates automatically with air force radar and is placed in interlocking fields of fire and has different success rates on type of missile and where it's going and so forth.

  4. Oversimplification as crew cost, maintenance costs, integrated neighbor systems like air force radar, and rocket variants effect the price tag. But yes this stuff is expensive, but the Israelis would rather lose the money and keep the people.

  5. Not really. Different countries will want their own custom tailored system based on what they can afford and the threats they face. It's the technical secrets that get sold at a high price.
